this is great. it takes up little space and shreds just about anything. it is also pretty cheap! great product for the home person wanting to shred important papers!
IT IS A LOT BETTER PRODUCT THEN A BRINK I HAD. I WAS ALWAYS GETTING PAPER STUCK IN IT AND COULDN'T GET IT OUT. I LIKE IT REAL WELL AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO PWOPLE.
Good size for minimal shredding needs.
I brought the schredder to put in an out of the way place in my home, so I could discard junk mail. Junk mail was always building up and it took me hours to discard once I would place my other schredder on the trash container. This product come with its own trash basket and it sit neatly in my laundry room. As I get junk mail now I shred it immediately. I have had a problem with the blades grabbing the paper and pulling it in sideways and jamming the schredder. I just try to be careful because it does what I need it to do.
It is a terrible shredder. It says that you can shred about 5-6 sheets at a time however inspite of trying to shred a single sheet at a time i had no luck. its not that it doesnt shred, it does shred but there is a small metal piece in the middle of where you slide the sheets and after every one or two sheets the pieces get stuck and i find myself using my tweezer or something to get the pieces out of that place so it will start working again. It completely fails the entire idea behind a shredder. I would definitely not recommend it, not even for the low price.
At first I was happy with this shredder when I first got it in my first review years ago. At that time it did not last even a year. Because after some time it would jam a lot and just not worth it had to get another one. 2015 Please just comparison shop before you get a paper shredder. I wish I would have waited some time be fore I posted my opinion
Extremely poor product, paper jams all the time, hard to take jamed paper out. You get what you pay for.
This shredder is like a toy. It worked for a few days, very poorly, I might add, and then quit altogether. IT IS A HUNK OF JUNK!!!!!
Returned product with no problem. Length of opening not long enough to comfortably accommodate 8 1/2 wide paper. Measurements are probably based on the metric system.
I brought this product mainly because of price, and because it was electric. "I sure got what I paid for". It kept jamming the papers, and did not take much papers at once. The paper always will turn to the side needing to be stopped and redone again. If you want a shredder that works quickly, this is not the one. I have to replace it now because the paper jammed in it and the only way it will operate is in reverse. Even though it was cheap, it was not worth the money. My old hand operated one was much better than this one. Sorry I got rid of it, I could sure use it now.
