This the best shredder that I have ever purchased. It is very quiet and I can run it while my husband watches TV. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs a good shredder. With this shredder no one will be able to piece together your personal information and steal your identification.
I have this shredder for about 1 week. I used it right out of the box. It is a great little piece of equipment for the price. I definetly recommend this product.
This product is worththe value. it is easy to use. includes wheels which just pop into the bottom of the base. it has a pull out drawer so you dont have to take a bulky shrdder top off. it rolls easily. the shred is tiny. i could use this stuff as packing paper. it shreds credit cards easily. and is very very quiet. however it will only shred about tthe recommended number of sheets at a time. other than that it is a very good product and i would recommend it to anyone.
It is very convenient having the drawer that pulls out to empty the confetti. I had to take the top off my last shredder, which was a hassle. It shreds really small pieces, so no one can reassemble them and get your personal information. That's great.
I haven't had this shredder very long, so I can't say anything about durability, but I am very happy with the purchase so far. My previous shredder was also from Royal and it lasted many years (10?). Great for home shredding use, is fairly quiet, makes teeny tiny kibbles out of your sensitive documents. Also has CD and credit card slots. The built-in receptacle pulls out easily like a drawer.
Shreds to tiny pieces. A separate slot for credit cards and CDs which comes in handy. Very quite as opposed to other shredders I have used. The pull out basket makes removing the shredded contents very convenient. Definitely a nice product. The only thing is that it is a bit on the pricey side but worth it.
I have had several shrerdders. I have to say this is the quietest shredder! It really makes confetti, the pieces are so small. I have had problems with identity theft, I'm totally confident that with the minute pieces, that I am safe. I highly reccomend this shredder to anyone who wants an extremely quiet and efficient shredder.
For years I bought different shredders that had multible problems. Normal shredders did not obliterate the documents, and filled the container too fast with expanded fluffed up paper. Cross cut did a better job, but still did not completely conceal the document. This micro shredder conceals the document completely, and the small cut pieces are compacted into a small volume and are neat and controllable. The disc shredder only slices the disc into about 4 pieces, which I'm not happy with, but I guess it renders it unusable. Excellent product for moderate household volume of documents.
I got a little nervous after using the Shredder for the first time. The Shredder cannot handle very thick papers...and it jammed, hard! After I unjammed it, which was really hard to do...I was able to use the machine, but only with two or sheets of paper, max. The card and disk shredders work just as advertised...very well. And it is quieter than most shredders. Overall, with caution, this is an excellent buy for the price.
The shredder has all the features I was looking for at competitive pricing. It shreds credit cards,CDs operates quietly, has easy disposal and the micro shredding assures security. It seems to be a very nice product.
