We purchased this to hold colored printing paper and card stock for our preschool department. We just began using it but so far it is great!
I wanted to give a 3 1/2 stars, but I can't do that. Here's why. It's not really fiberboard in my definition - it's just double folded cardboard; however, once it's put together the cardboard seems to be sturdy enough. Secondly, it's kind of a pain in the neck to put together. I'm hoping the cardboard and the shelf clips hold up over time. Based on the price of this and other organizers for my card stock; this has been the best purchase. I"ll order another one if it holds up over time.
This is used to sort mail for our employees. The only thing I don't like about it is that we put employee names on the cross pieces and these are not flat so it is difficult to attach something to it. Other than that it is sturdy and works well for our use.
I desperately needed somewhere to organize my stamping cardstock and this shelf file was the answer! It was hard to put together, but it is sturdy and has enough room to hold everything in one organized space. It is the perfect size, and was a good value for the cost.
My husband is still downstairs trying to put this together where nothing lines up including the slits in the cardboard that don't line up with the slots in the frame for the shelves. He now has to take a blade to cut them so they will line up. All this for $200 and he isn't even finished yet.
This is the worse designed item I have EVER put together. The slots are made of cardboard and are sagging and uneven and I havent even put any paper in. The slot "holders" will not stay in or secure so that makes it impossible to straighten the slots. If I had not spent HOURS putting it together I would return it.
