I originally purchased this sunscreen in SPF 50, and loved how my skin felt after removing it. My skin was soft and not burned at all. I purchased the SPF 30 because I felt the 50 was a little too thick and I didn't need the extra protection. I was right! The 30 it a little lighter feeling on my skin but still has the protection and anti aging benefits.
This sunblock really stays on, even while sweating, doesn't rub off easily, not greasy, doesn't turn orange or stain clothes. It takes more effort to spread evenly and it turns a faint white color when wet but that is a small price to pay for a safe product that doesn't break down in the sun. An added bonus is that it contains herbs and really seems to be a long lasting BUG REPELLENT. Good against mosquitoes, gnats, and chiggers. I bought this in June in the USA and have used it for 10 weeks now in the Caribbean, often doing agricultural work. I hope I never run out of it!
I like that it is all natural but it leaves a slight white color on my tan skin (even after a few hours).
I am having to give this product a very low rating because of my recent experience in purchasing it: I bought this item about a year ago at a Walmart store and liked the product enough to want to purchase it again, however am very disappointed with Safe Harbor now, not because of the quality of the product but due to the negligence relating to selling the product with a past expiration date. I decided to very recently purchase this sunscreen since mine expired in Dec. 2015. When I received the product after having ordered it online through Walmart recently, I noticed that the tube showed an expiration date of 12/15 on it that must have been overlooked when it was shipped to me. I am actually pretty disappointed with the company that makes this product, because I recently had a similar experience when I ordered it from Amazon. I got the sunscreen and it also showed an expiration date of 12/15! I returned it prior to trying again to get it through Walmart. I tried contacting the company direct and could not connect with anyone. I will not buy their product again. I've never had this type of experience with a product, and wonder if Safe Harbor is no longer making it, which is a shame, because I found it to be a great alternative to many other sunscreen lotions that have ingredients that I prefer to avoid.
I can't say if this product is good or not, I received this today 2/15/17 and was SHOCKED to see the expiration date was 12/2015. Obviously this will be returned.
