Works great, though I had to hack it a bit to install. The presented instructions are not quite clear, and certain cabinet walls can be thick, which can cause installation problems. However, overall I was able to just adjust things here and there, and got it installed anyway on several types of cabinets. Once installed, works perfectly.
These were the best investment in child safety I could have ever wanted. I have had a set for 3 yrs now because everything we tried was easy for our autistic son to figure out and I am back for another set for the bathroom and replacement for worn ones.. I love them and my Autistic son has yet to figure them out, YAY!
Husband took 20 minutes to get first one installed after he got hand of it each was about 7/10 minutes each. Had to pre drill holes . Works great. I pulled with all my force to break open. Unable. Lock magnetic is strong and can stick to about anything metal for easy placing. I like how you chem turn them off when you need to like if you r cooking but I don't. I just let it hang out attached to the Adobe and move around the kitchen. Had a joke in it so you can hang on hook. Recommend after breaking so many of those other cheap ones. 4 Great old still hasn't figured out how to use them. There awsome. But online not in store. In store there four pack is twenty bucks. Online you can get a mine pack for s little more. We installed 37 On top bottom and drawers .
Works as advertised. I viewed YouTube tutorials that were helpful... I'm a visual person.
It helps that I can "lock" or leave "unlocked". Since my grandkids aren't always here I can leave cabinets unlocked when I want to, but flip the switch when I need to, keeping little hands out of the cabinets.
A power drill is necessary with these, unless your cabinet wood is very soft. But they are otherwise easy to install, and they are far more secure than the locks that don't screw in. I love not seeing them, and our toddler has now long given up even trying to open the cabinets and drawers we have locked. Really nice to be able to leave them unlocked as well, as needed!
These work great at keeping my 10 month out of the kitchen cabinets. Install was easy. I watched a YouTube video on installing which was helpful. All you need is an electric drill, 7/64 drill bit and a Phillips screw driver.
They definitely keep out anyone, almost too good at times. Our little one was constantly into everything and these keep her safe.
The locks work great. The problem is with the self-stick install template. The peel first side worked as expected. But the second side (where it needs to transfer to the cabinet door) never revealed the sticky part. On all 8 templates, when I peeled the paper it remained stuck to the foam and shredded.
We have only had these installed for a week or two BUT so far we love them. As a mother of 3 I can tell you if you have a busy baby/child these are like magic !! My only negitive is with our set ( set of 8 locks) it only came with 1 key. I will b buying a extra key off Amazon soon. Just to b safe ! Yes these are a little spendy but my youngest is able to get past our regular childproofing. So THIS was awesome. I finally have my kitchen back and everything put back in the drawers and cabnets ! Buy them if need awesome child proof ! You won't b sorry ! B ready for about 2 hrs and a electric drill to install along with a few bad words ! But all worth it :)
