I like the way it dissolves in the water leaving no residue on top of the water and it has a great taste. Good for your immune system.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i get a cold, i seem to get it worse than anyone else in the family- so it is important to keep my immune system healthy & avoid getting sick. I love that these tablets have 50% zinc (which helps immune function) & 100% vitamin C!! Nobody likes to drink a glass of something if it doesn't tastes good,or worse, tastes medicinal - so that is where Sambucol really shines. I would give this 10 stars if I could... The flavor is amazing! Fruity & sweet (even though there is no sugar- another plus) I put the tablet into tap water, it fizzed, dissolved quickly , then drank it!! They come in a convenient cylinder you can put in your car, desk drawer or purse. I will be getting more of these for sure!
The effervescent tablets start to fizz as soon as they hit the water and dissolve quickly. The flavor is sweet without being cloying and has a little tartness at the end, very pleasant. I find that the effervescent tablets add a hint of fizz as well. It's really easy to use and I feel like it would be a great option for daily use or to use while traveling. I did find the packaging to be a little difficult to open, especially the first time but that's my only complaint. Other than that the packaging is sturdy and well thought out, there's even a small cylinder built into the lid filled with what I assume is silica or something similar to protect the tablets from moisture.
While some describe this product as “sweet,” it is only that way the first time or two you use it. This products is, hands down, better than Emergen-C and Air Born(e?). This product, taken with, arms my system and gives it energy for the day.

My daughter, my Husband, and myself have not been sick at all this year and I give all credit to our Elderberry products. These Sambucol Black Elderberry Effervescent Tablets dissolve really fast without any stirring, making it perfect for on-the-go. We actually enjoy the flavor, it taste like a light yummy soda without the bad! Very easy to drink with no aftertaste. This is something I recommend for all members of the family!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've heard a lot about the benefits of Black Elderberry and have done lots of research on it too so I was super excited to try this out. First of all, the tube that these effervescent tablets come in is slim and easy take with you. I love that I can toss it in my purse and take a tablet anywhere easily. It literally takes several seconds for it to dissolve completely before you drink. The tube also has a cap that opens and closes well. The first thing I noticed when I lifted the cap was an amazing and yummy scent. It was so fruity and it made me even more excited to try it. I filled a cup up with 12 oz of water and dropped a tablet in the water.. it fizzed and fizzed and turned the water into a beautiful pinkish color. After several seconds of waiting I was able to drink it. The flavor was fruity and delicious and it wasn't too strong. I love that this little tablet has a lot of antioxidants and i'm excited to see the benefits of using Sambucol Black elderberry effervescent tablets in the long run.. especially with school just starting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the effects of elderberry for sickness and preventing sickness. I started to take this at the first sign of a cold and it definitely helped. It was easy to make and helped to shorted the duration of the cold by days. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of, was the taste. It wasn't a horrible taste but the after taste did get to me. Other than that, I liked the product.

It really preserves the shape of the tablet though about shaking it cause some of my tablets are broken. It makes your water level up. Its taking vitamin drink to the new level.

I recommend mixing it with the full 12 oz. because it is sweet. Mix with cold water and enjoy. I like it has zinc, vitamin C, and elderberry which is said to help reduce cold symptoms. They are sparking so if you don't like bubbles don't try.
