We had this ham for Christmas and thought it was excellent. It's moist and not salty like a lot of hams we've had before. The glaze is also delicious but can be a wee bit over powering if you put too much on. I only gave it 3 stars for value as it is a Walmart brand ham and seems more pricey at Easter than at Christmas time. Also it costs more on sale now than some of the other name brand hams in my area. But regardless of the price I will be having one for Easter.
Served this ham for Thanksgiving and it was a real hit. Best tasting ham I ever had. Will buy this product again.
purchased for easter dinner. did not use the glaze that came with it, instead used a cherry glaze. everyone loved it. I will be cooking another one for mothers day.
My husband has me cook this ham every other week lol.. we love it. And so does my kids.. and the glaze is awesome. My husband wishes there was a little bit more of the glaze in the pack that comes with it so I just add a little extra water with brown sugar.. I am very picky about ham, but LOVE this
I opened this ham and when I cut into the bag, there was another bag inside that had busted open. I know it isn't Wal-Mart's fault, but the manufacturer should have done better. If the first bag isn't good enough, please remove it and put a new bag on it.
I bought the Sam's Choice because it said "premium" on the package and it cost more than the Smithfield ham that I normally buy. I thought it would be as good or better. Huge mistake. It's fatty and is no where near the quality and taste of Smithfield hams.
