loved it! defrosted in the fridge. you should rinse because they may have a bit of sand. cooks well not soggy. I put a paper towel in the dish as they thawed to absorb the water.
Restaurant quality sooo yummy
Based on the reviews I almost didn't order. Glad I took a chance. Mine are delicious AND larger %26 more flavorful than those from OS (See box in picture 😉)!!! I'll keep ordering it quality remains this good!
They are a good size being Sea Scallops, I bacon wrap them and bake at 425⁰ they do come with the side muscle which tells you they are real scallops. My package has a lot so going to pan sear the rest tomorrow. Not disappointed at all hope Walmart keeps them avaliable in WV for the transplants who came from the North East States. great job worth the money spent. People might complain about the price but if you had to have Fresh shipped it would cost well more.
slick and smelly clearly old
When i opened the package there was a strong fishy smell. i threw them out. ive always been told that if seafood smells fishy then it can be bad.
This preservative prevents the Scallops from Searing/Browning and Zaps the flavor! They call these WET Scallops. Dry Scallops are free of any additive and delicious they are also not bright white like WET ones (preservatives bleach their natural ivory color)! Fresh Dry Scallops are the only ones to eat!
Does not have Best if used by OR lot %23 printed on package! Scary!
I was very disappointed that these scallops all had grit in them. They didn't taste fishy but because of the grit when chewing them. I wouldn't buy them again.
over half the bag was rotten did not taste good at all it didn't have an expiration date see photos below ordered on September 30th 2022 didn't get delivered until October the 5th because of the way they're delivery is set up it was delivered directly from the store itself.
