i bought this tv in december of 2017. i love this tv i don't need a 4k tv this is perfect. i recommend this tv.
The quality of the picture and sound makes it seem as though I'm attending a live performance every time I watch a show. The TV was a great value and a wise purchase for me. It was very easy to set up and I didn't need my cable company to install it. The selection of streaming channels is outstanding.
This TV replaced a 20+ year CRT, whose picture was getting difficult to view. The Samsung TV seems well-made and is very easy to set up and use. The remote also is very easy to use. Updating the firmware via the Onscreen instructions is a piece of cake. Couldn't be easier to do.
I bought this TV for my wife to upgrade to a smart TV She liked my 55 inch curved TV so much that she had to have a Samsung. We bought the 49 inch because it was the only one available with the center stand the other had legs at each end which would not fit our stand it was a lot of TV for the price and not to technical for my wife to understand
Best T.V, I've purchased to date. All my gaming, Computer and Video devices work excellent with this T.V. Another Samsung product with superb performance.
Very nice TV. You get what you pay for! Smart apps are nice & the remote is easy to use. They can even remote in your TV for support! *Kaizen- (Continuous Improvement)
This tv works pretty well although we found the sound cutting out on us when we plugged our sound bar into the tv, After much trial and error, we eventually learned we had to circumvent the tv speakers and wire everything through our cable system. Now the sound is great. The picture is very good too, although sometimes it randomly dims and brightens.
I just bought this TV and it keeps disconnecting from the internet, i had to connect it again in settings but now its not connecting no matter what i do...i searched the web and it seems a very common isue..
got on a Tuesday. First thing I noticed was there was zero ability to watch from any angle, otherwise the whole picture started whitewashing out. You literally had to be sitting exactly straight on facing the tv. 5 degrees either way and it started losing color. Well by the 3rd day the picture started going black. So it didn't really matter where you sat. the whole screen took on a dark smokey hazy look. could barely see anything. so it just got returned. will I buy another Samsung . doubtful.
I had this TV for 2 years then the LED light bars went out. You have to take the entire TV apart and know how to solder LED's to fix it. So unless you just want a disposable TV I would not buy it. I strongly suggest you read other online reviews outside of Samsung.com
