This MP3 player is one of the best I ever owned. It has all the features I was looking for plus more. One of my favorite feature that came in handle was the subway map. Visiting my family in NYC and not taking the subway for sometime now, I almost forgot where the subway was and where to make my transfer. But thank God I had my MP3 player with me. My daughter now wants one. I would have love if I didn't need a PC to recharge it, but beside that its a pretty good MP3 player.
You can't go wrong with this player. The sound is amazing. Easy to use interface. Drag and drop + bluetooth file transfers. External speaker is a nice addition too. Supports many audio/video formats and you can add more .swf games as well. The only negative thing I can say about this player is the fact that you can't edit the address book, or calendar events, without using a program. It would be a much easier interface if it was functional on screen. As it stands, you'll have to put info in a memo and transfer this info later on your pc, then transfer that file to the associated app. However, it is first and foremost, an MP3 player and it does that very, very well. No need to shell out double (or triple) the money for proprietary devices. (I-pod / Zune) You won't be disappointed.
I ordered this player on Wed. and it came in the next day. The price is a steal for what this baby can do! With 13 different sound presets and an EQ your music will sound sooo good! The video that comes pre-loaded looks like HD! The look of the player will draw attention, everyone keeps asking me if its a new phone! Very sleek and the brushed chrome shell is sweet! Only drawback was the headphones! The touch screen is very nice and the software is easy to use! Watch out ipod, samsung is coming!
I love this mp3. It is everything I wanted and more! Forget the I-pod touch! Get this one. It will not disappoint. Only thing you can't do with this is go online but I don't need that because I can do that with my phone. =) I am so happy I bought this.
had one problem when i got it. would connect to my laptop. on the player i went into the settings menu - system - pc connection and set to you ums and i haven't had a problem since. very durable. been dropped in a parking lot multiple times, among other things and still works the way it did when i got it in january. so easy to use, my 5 year old daughter can operate it with no problem. long battery life. i work an average of 13-15 hours a day and i can go for 2 days before i think about charging it. connecting it to your phone like a bluetooth headset drains the battery kind of fast. i got 5 hours while playing music at the same time. play with it and you'll be impressed.
Battery life is great! Holds ton's of music & pic's.
This product works well but the radio and emodio not so great. It met all my expectation with the games, calender, alarm clock, phone book, bluetooth, memo pad, voice/radio rec. and calculator but for some reason I didn't get the dictionary. Other than those few things its worth the money especially with the built in speaker and the quality sound ear phones.
I am extremely satisfied with this product. I chose the Samsung because of prior experience with their MP3 players. I've also had experience with iPod. Samsung products are easier to use & more reliable. This is a great product! Cases for this player are available through Amazon at reasonable prices; Walmart did not carry them...
Having previously owned a Samsung Mp3 player prior to this one, I wan't surprised by the quality & value I got in the Samsung P3. It's definitely an upgrade from what I had before. I can't really compare it to an I-Pod because I have never owned one before. But I do know one thing. This device has everything you need when it comes to music, video and radio. I personally don't use the P3 to play videos. I use it more to play the radio & music player while I'm working out at the gym. The sound quality is just phenomenal even with the modest ear phones that come with it. The touchscreen works flawlessly and is not overly-sensitive at all. Once you get accustomed to using the P3's features, everything else is downhill from there. The menu is very user friendly & doesn't require being a brain surgeon to operate. The stainless steel body gives it that solid, high-quality look. And if you're concerned with the battery-life....fear not. This baby definitely holds a nice charge. There's really nothing negative I can say about this product. It does everything I need & want it to do. I'm LOVING IT!!!
I purchased the MP3 player for my wife. She is very pleased with the features and performance. However, the order that I placed was for a black MP3player but Walmart shipped a silver one. Fortunately, she liked the silver color.
