This phone is awesome. I love it. It has a nice huge screen and a really nice camera. It has 3 GB of ram in it records in 4K. WOW! One of the best phones ever. You can scroll down with your eyes and so much more. The only issue i have with it is that every once in a while i will need to restart to connect to Wi-Fi. And also this phone is capable with sprint spark yet. And sprint has really bad 4G LTE here where i live . But that doesn't have to to with the phone. Just the network. But this is the best choice.
I enjoy my galaxy note 3 so much the screen size is truly the sweet spot for perfect viewing size this thing is super fast very handy for quick notes pictures social and media consumption can't say enough good things about there are way too many too list best smart phone ever describes my current feelings you won't be disappointed.
Love this phone/tablet all in one. Big screen for gaming apps, watching movies, etc. Not a pocket phone for sure. Still slim and lightweight. The stylus is awesome and built in and there is a feature to alert you if it is left behind...Price was fair for all the features, of course, no one likes paying that much for a smart phone but this one at least is mostly worth it. I can't wait to explore more of what it does. It has my 5 star rating for sure!!! Totally Love it....
I'm a tech guy. Love all things new. Gadgets, gizmos and anything neat. Ever since the GN2 came out and my wife got it I've been waiting for the next big thing to come out. Well it's here and it doesn't disappoint. I have big hands, so much so I can't squeeze them through the wristband of the gear (so bummed :() I finally have a phone that I can actually text rapidly and accurately on without always hitting the c or v letter. And I can tweet while watching a video effortlessly. No lag, stutter or hiccups. That is impressive. With 4 cores, and 3 gb of ram this phone, phablet or whatever you want classify it as, is fast, comfortable and perfect for the business sector OR the handyman/tradesman sector. It is really an all around package that can appeal to many different users. And that is nice to see. The S Pen feels comfortable to use AND is so much more an integral part of the phone then in the GN2. This is my first day with it. I'll be adding video reviews of it shortly. It's a serious two thumbs up ,must buy, award of excellence or what have you rated piece of equipment. Nicely done Samsung, nicely done!
this is the greatest piece of electronics ever Before I purchased this phone I bought a laptop well the day I purchased the Note 3 was the last day I used the laptop This phone does everything Big enough to watch a sporting event or movie small enough to put in my pocket the camera & video are excellent it has totally replaced my SLR It is my remote control for my Samsung 55 smart TV This phone is excellent
Everything you could ever want or need plus more!!
You may not think that Samsung could deliver on top of perfection from the Note II, but they have done it yet again! I recently activated my Note III and I couldn't be happier with the product. It packs all of the features of the S4 and includes many more that a geek would LOVE! The S Pen has been updated to fit your lifestyle, the camera is significantly improved over the Note II, and the battery life is no joke! I have successfully gotten at least 12 hours out of my battery life while using multiple account syncs, photos, Facebook, Twitter, BBM, GPS tracking, Step Counter, etc. If you're on the fence about getting this phone, go get it! You will NOT be disappointed! PS - The included SketchBook for Galaxy app is amazing!
This is a great phone over-all. Nice screen, unbreakable using the armor glass screen protector, and it can handle any apps you throw at it, even still today. Camera is fantastic, takes wonderful quality photos and videos, which using Google photos makes it even better as you don't have to keep photos stored on your phone, you can sync them to your Google account. The only con, which might be a big one to some, is that writing with the stylus is a little wonky. You have to apply a little more pressure than what I would like (this might be due to the glass screen protector) and it's a little weird to hold in one hand and write with the other without the sides of your hands making pen marks on the writing surface.
Don't get me wrong, the Note 3 is an excellent device in terms of sheer power and functionality, but Touchwiz takes away from the experience. I'll give the cons first, then the pros. FYI, I'm using the Sprint version of the device here in the states. Cons - Touchwiz uses a great deal of the Note 3 resources by default which adds the occasional stutter or lag when going from app to app. Touchwiz is an aquired taste with it's cartoonish interface and blocky style. The dialer, stock browser, stock email client and updated settings menu could use an overall. Anytime there has to be a search function inside of the settings menu, it's become far to cluttered. S - Voice has proved to be unreliable at the worst times. It has trouble recognizing contacts and distinguishing between names, even with the adaptive voice feature. Personally, I've remedied this by using the Google voice feature by sliding my finger across the menu button. Please consider including a second speaker in the next iteration. Although the single speaker is good, I find that I have to wear headphones to get fully immersed in the experience. The wifi antennae is pretty weak. I've found myself losing connectivity while being less than 5 ft away from my router, while my other devices connect and stay connected throughout the entire house. The cut and paste feature could use some attention because it's definitely NOT intuitive for anyone new to the Galaxy line. Pros - everything else. The battery life is amazing and the usb 3.0 charging has really eased my concerns from the Note 2. The screen is excellent for watching movies, drawing and viewing photos or videos. The S-pen functions as it should and offers an unparalleled accuracy and useful set of additional features. Learn the gestures! They will save you time on the most commonly performed tasks and become second nature in no time. The large keyboard, with its dedicated row of numbers just gets the job done. Gaming, true multitasking, content viewing and call quality are all excellent. For some the size will be an issue as they will try to force this to be a one handed device, which it isn't unless you've got abnormally large hands. The device fits comfortably in pants pockets and is surprisingly light. You really can't go wrong with this device.
When I received this phone I was initially very pleased. The display is gorgeous (full HD). The phone is incredibly fast when multitasking or playing demanding HD games. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB memory internal (25GB usable). It has an expansion slot that will take a 64GB card. The S pen feature is great to take notes while on a call. Sounds great right? It would be the best phone I ever had, except for the fact that the call quality is very poor. I know many people do a limited amount of voice calling on their phones so this may not be much of an issue for some. I use the phone for business so this problem makes the phone unusable for me. During calls you will hear popping noises, modulation, and sound distortion. I can't keep asking my clients to repeat everything they say. I replaced my original phone but the second phone has the same problem. I would rate this phone excellent if this problem could be resolved. But for now the phone is not usable.
