big changes from the 1st generation galaxy s. camera is awesome. really enjoying the addition of the front facing camera! downloads and installs are super quick. i've had it for a couple months, the only problem i have seen so far is that the phone kind of freaks out when you try to use it while it is charging. not a big deal though. battery life is a lot better than the first one too.
going on a year of having this phone and not have any second thoughts about the purchase. Connects to my Samsung TV, My computer and even my 2013 Nissan Altima lol. Hopefully for xmas Santa will leave me a Samsung WB850F to connect to my GS2. Text, video, calls all good. Twitter, Instagram, facebook all here on a brillantly bright screen. Only thing on the Cons side of things is battery life. I might be asking my battery to do to much but I just cant help it because my phone does so much.
I first saw a friend with the Galaxy S11 , I had to get one,and when another friend saw mine she had to have one too. Everywhere I go people see me using the phone with the terrific apps and the great photos it takes.They ask me oh is that the Galaxy S11.....Wow I am going to get one of those when my plan expires, I tell them that they are well worth it, makes that "other phone" seem very outdated. The android store has everything you could want...
i cant do anything more than speak good about this phone, its fast, reliable, and honestly is one of the best phones ive ever owned! thank you samsung for making an amazing product, now lets see how updates produce for this :)
3 days into this phone and I am still amazed at all the offerings, apps, widgets, and built in products that are accessible. hooked into Wi-Fi at 3 different locations and it was a breeze and was great with the skype video. Tried 4g once to download a application and it was totally awesome. I would recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a featured filled smart- phone
"No, I wouldn't like that upgrade!" Exactly what I told Sprint when they called to offer me the SIII upgrade. I figure, the SII is so nice and all around perfect for me, I'll wait for the S4 or whatever their improvement to the SIII is. The only thing missing is Jelly Bean =)
This is a great phone. I used to have the IPHONE and I was afraid to give it up because I thought I was downgrading... but I couldn't be so far from the truth. It is an excellent phone and I recommend it to anyone.
I waited for Apple to release the "I5" back in October and it was going to be my first iPhone. Man...am I glad they only released the i4!!! This has been the best phone I have ever owned hands down!! I love the video and camera and the screen is unbelievable! I have tried to turn every Apple owner I know just by letting them hold and see this phone! It sells itself!
So got this phone when i was going to get an iphone. well they didnt have any so i looked and they guy at the store told me this was a good phone.. with my experience with android i wasnt sure... i had an HTC EVO and hated it... the battery life all of it just bad phone. but i figured that why not get this one and try it out, i have a month to try it and wait for more iphones. since i have had it, i love it. it has like 12 gigs on onboard memory and you can upgrade it even more by buying a 32 gig chip. apple you cant and for the same price all i would get is a 16gig iphone. the battery lasts a good time i can use it all day and have no problem. also i dont have the issue with 4g like i had before. I liked the phone so much that when i got a laptop about 2 days ago i was confident with samsung enough that i got a samsung laptop... and it is amazing as well... great value... the only problem i have had was trying to connect my phone with my laptop but im sure it is just user error...
Rear cover needs better grip. Being a power user , battery doesn't last a day for me. Getting an extended battery. The camera has no shutter silence. Funny thing my friends S2 on Tmobile has that option. Why not on Sprint version? Without rooting (for now) I use headphones or a cut off an unused jack. It still beeps softly but you can barely hear the shutter sound. Other than that it's a good phone.
