sensitivity/data? oh and music?

I been a loyal customer since the Galaxy S2. The sensitivity has been a bit of an over dramatic teenager. Drooping calls for big face people (not just me). certain games have become over bearing as well. Data transfer in the Galaxy S2 was amazing! I didn't need internet, but the 3 was a big disappointment in that area. I cant get anything unless there is internet! (anyone can like if they agree.) As well how can I stop the music if it does not pop up as an APP like everything in the (menu)- is what i call it. I do love the phone how it may seem that I am bashing it. I would recommend it to every body. Just asking that the update would fix these problems.

Man I love this phone the performance is great but what i really love more then anything is the overall design. It fits in my hand, the weight and balance is perfect, it is like it was made for me personally. I can not even tell when the phone is in my pocket, i hate it when you feel like you are carrying a brick around, this phone is perfect in design and fit n finish. The screen has great picture and the camera is great also

Best smartphone I've ever owned!

I've used the S2 for a little under a week and I can say without a doubt it's the best smartphone I've ever owned. The S2's large screen and corresponding large buttons make it easy to both see and control the phone's features. This is a BIG plus for anyone with fat clumsy fingers like mine. Texting, browsing and navigating - even placing a regular call - are all virtually effortless with the screen real estate the S2 provides. It has more than necessary speakerphone volume and its performance (aka speed) is a welcome surprize even on 3G connections. And browsing on Wi-Fi blazes. Durability remains to be seen but, while lightweight, the phone "feels" solidly built. While large, the S2's thin design makes carrying the phone in your front pocket quite comfortable even when it's in a protective case. So I highy recommend an upgrade to the S2. Yeah, it's pricy, but you get what you pay for with the S2 - smartphone nirvana!

This is a great phone. I have never had a so called smart phone until I got the GSII. It's a wonderful phone that does everything I want it to do and then some. There are a few things I dislike but not many. It does have poor signal strength but that could be just the way my apt complex is, since I'm on the bottom floor, away from home the signal is excellent. This is like I said my first smart phone, and the first phone I have ever owned by Samsung. Wish it would have been cheaper when I bought it but I did get my money's worth in features. Now I'm just waiting for the latest Android update coming later this year. =)

The camera is superb. The memory is immense. The touchscreen works great. The larger screen is easy to see.

I absolutely loved this phone but returned it because the battery drained down too fast. I did order another one and so far love it. I will rate the new one as excellent all the way down the line. I think I just got a phone with a bad battery or it had other problems but would still recommend buying thru walmart because of the ease of their return policy.

I have only had the the phone for a couple of weeks but so far am well pleased. I ordered the phone from Walmart on a Monday and it arrived on Two days later on Wednesday which was great. I was concerned about the thin plasic back on the phone but I use a silicone cover so it's not much of a concern for me. My husband doesn't use phone covers so I would be concerned that it would not hold up for him. Love the bigger screen. I am having some problems with the camera. All pictures, including attachments sent to look like negatives. I change the but it is only a temporary fix. Not sure if it's a problem with the phone or the user. Overall I am pleased with my phone but it might not the phone for everyone.

Buying this phone a mistake

I was so excited when my new phone arrived. It's an older model, but it was my first smart phone. I encountered my first problem with it right off the bat, however, when I went to activate it and port my number from another provider to Straight Talk. That ended up taking over a week, including hours spent on the phone with tech support. First, my former provider was blamed. Then, I was assured repeatedly that my number had successfully been ported, but my phone still didn't work. Next, I was told that it wouldn't work in my area. That was wrong. I had fully checked that out ahead of time. Finally, a new sim card was sent. I followed the directions to install it while on the phone with customer service. The phone still didn't work, and I got the same error message I'd been getting from the beginning. After many more hours working my way up through tech support, it was determined that they had sent me the wrong sim card. So, I had to wait for them to send the right one. I received another sim card and once again installed it while talking to tech support and following their instructions. Once again, the activation didn't work. This time, I was told that it was because they'd sent my number back to my former provider because I hadn't activated a phone with it! I went up the chain of command until I found someone who could get my phone activated with my longstanding phone number, and finally had a working phone, more or less. It worked for approximately a week, and then I was no longer able to access any data with it. So, back to tech support, and more hours on the phone. I did finally get it working again, but it would literally take 15 minutes to access anything. I also had to remove the battery and reboot it about every other day for a while in order to continue being able to access data. It has never worked quite right, and many of the features of the phone do not work at all. I can take a photo, for example, but I can't do anything with it. I can't email it or text it. I run into error messages right and left. I don't do facebook or anything else that would use lots of data on my phone. I check email a few times per day, read approximately three emails total and reply to approximately one email, and occasionally check the weather forecast. That's it. However, I routinely get a message that I've gone over on my highspeed data usage around the third day of the billing cycle each month. Once that happens, accessing anything is next to impossible. I finally gave up on tech support and decided to live with it until I could afford a better phone. Unfortunately, I discovered when I tried to switch service providers to AT&T that getting Straight Talk to part with a number once they have it is next to impossible. My local AT&T store told me they've never been successful porting a number from Straight Talk. The moral to this story is that you do get what you pay for. I tried to decrease my monthly costs by switching to Straight Talk, and I went with a "cheap" smart phone (not so cheap for an outdated phone). I learned a frustrating and expensive lesson.
