I've been researching all the available fitness trackers on the market, trying to narrow the field down a bit to make an educated decision. I made a list of must-haves to assist me in the process. This one checked off all the boxes. I was leaving heavily towards the Fitbit Ionic, Garmin Forerunner 245, & Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro towards the end. So far, I'm very happy with my decision. I love how sporty it looks, how simple & intuitive it is to navigate with bezel or via touch on the fly, the all metal, yet lightweight build quality, and the ability to use it WITHOUT MY PHONE to listen to music on my earbuds & even pay at NFC enabled registers using Samsung Pay. Great device.
I bought this watch in May, and used it for my entire internship, I love the clicky turn wheel, and every app that was preloaded into the watch. The notifications on my phone allow me to keep the ringtone off, and still get them without notifying everyone around me, and texting people on here is a breeze. I have gone swimming with this multiple times, and not had a single issue.
I really love the new gear sport watch. It had a plethora of features and works really well. There is a ton of storage and pretty decent batteryife considering the many functions of the watch. In stand alone mode I get almost a day on a charge. In power save mode I am able to make it a week on a single charge. I love the design and the wrist bands aren't cheap. The color is amazing the bevel is even better. Way to combine sport with design and make it flow functionally together. I would say it's well worth the money.
Still have it, almost 2024 and only having a few minor issues, but d!mn this thing went through a lot. Only a few dents and scratches on the steel, love the bezel, saved the screen hundreds of times. I don't want to upgrade to a newer watch due to the reliability of this beast.
Bought it with my note 10+ they work flawlessly together and it does everything I need it to do also it being water resistant is an added bonus. Only thing I changed was the band to a metal one they are more comfortable to me and look better
This is a great watch! It does everything I want it to do and then some. The faces are almost endless, the sleep tracker, and fitness tracker are on point. And it's the perfect size. Best purchase I've made in a very long time.
I got this along with Galaxy note 10. It has a great feature. But, functions aren't variable.
I bought the Samsung Gear Sport a few days ago. It was great the first day. The second day I realized it was hurting a bone on my wrist. I figured it would take time to get used to it. Today I had itching and irritation aound the entire area that it had contact with. I had no choice but to return it. It made my wrist very sweaty. The functionality was a bit difficult to navigate. Was very disappointed that I couldn't talk or listen to music on it without a bluetooth. It has an alarm that makes sound so it has a speaker of some kind. I was really excited about getting this watch, very sad I had to return it. It has a great look to it and I love the wireless charger. How do you become a product tester?
I enjoy many things about this watch, including style, the screen, and the different apps. However, fitness tracking is off in regards to calories burned. And I mean seriously off. This is a main reason why I bought the watch, so it's really disappointing that it is unable to count calories burned accurately. I have compared it to multiple other trackers as well as general nutritional health information, and the calculations are consistently off. Fix this issue, and you have a great product. One other gripe, the bezel is really easy to scratch and mark up.
i got this maybe a year and a half ago.the first time the screen blacked out was about 6 months in. i was confused since it was brand new. called a tech guy, he had me do updates, and it came back to life. worked for another 3 or 4 months. i had forgotten about it, let it go dead for a month or so, and wanted to use it, so i charged it, and it went black again. i tried youtube videos to fix it, it came back on. tonight i tried it again after it being dead a while, and im back to square one. it connects to bluetooth, vibrates, let's me access everything on my watch from my phone, including battery life, but occasionally it has this weird green pixelated screen, and when i touch the screen or any of the buttons, it goes away back to a black screen.
