Finally upgraded my Samsung S3 ,which was a fantastic phone, with the Note 4 and boy I'm impressed. The Note 4 is unparalleled in its functionality and speed. The screen and camera quality are absolutely beautiful. The S pen functions like a mouse and the screen writing is very nice. The phone functions well call volumn is very good Bluetooth connects easily. The size is perfect for me being an old guy I don't need my glasses to see the screen. Even with an Otter box defender case it fits in my front shirt pocket just fine. If your looking for a new phone get one of these you won't be sorry.
I used to own the Note 2 and many other Samsung phones but this is my everything. I love this phone like it just does everything you need and more. Plus the fast adapter is so convenient that I never have a problem with battery lost unless I forget to charge it after a day or so. My next phone will be something from another company because I need a change been using Samsung for 8 years now. However I am so scared to leave my Samsung family you can do anything you want on this phone from free music to free apps. If I am the slightest disappointed I will go back to my Sam family for sure.
This phone exceeded my expectations. The battery life is greater than anticipated, and all the things you can do with the S Pen are awesome. A definite winner.
This review is a bit late to the party, though that is mostly because I have finally replaced my Note 4 with a Note 8. The 4 has been the best phone I've ever owned, lasting well through launch day when I purchased it, until three generations of Note later. The removable storage, removable battery, powerful processor, excellent camera, S-pen, awesome battery life, and Gear VR Dev kit, made this one of my favorite electronic devices over the last few years. As I write this, I am becoming acquainted with my Note 8, though my Note 4 is still right here running interference for when I don't feel like slushing through the new device to find what I'm looking for (I haven't gotten everything organized just yet on the new one). I have been told repeatedly that my Note 4 would fetch an excellent price for the condition it's in, however I have no intention of selling it. The device will now become a dedicated VR unit and smarthome interface screen. Samsung, the Note 5 disappointed me, the 7 was a debacle, but this device, and hopefully the 8 will remind people exactly what you are capable of bringing to the market. Thanks for the memories Note 4.
I have had this device for a week and highly recommend it to anyone. The screen quality is excellent and once a couple of settings are tweaked, it runs very smoothly. This is my first "phablet" and I will definitely be upgrading to the new Galaxy Note every year.
I never expected to be a million times better than the note 3. The screen resolution is amazing, records and takes pictures so crispy and clear. Love the selfie mode and food mode. The battery life is great I can spend all day with just one charge. I will never regret the money I spend.
This phone is definitely worth the upgrade from and device you currently own. Only downfall was I had to wait a month to receive the device due to backorder a 3 days after launch date.
I was going to wait until the Galaxy S6 came out but I decided to try the Note 4 and so far it's great. I've only had it a few days and I'm already really pleased with it. I really like how the front-facing camera has a wide angle lense. Between the two, the pictures and screen are really clear and clean. The battery life is great as well. I'm pleased at how long it lasts, unlike other phones that don't last as long. I'll definitely be sticking with the note for a while. All in all, a great phone.
This Phone is truly the best of all the combination of phones over the last couple of years, it offers so much and the features work. The more you can study and learn it the more your can impress your friends and family! The Picture quality is unsurpassed, I took my 128 gig SD card out of my S5 and every movie has a better picture with brighter whites, darker blacks, and overall more pleasant viewing pleasure. Its well worth the size difference, matter of fact i just use the Note 4 over my other Samsung phones, its much nicer to text with, i can text while walking. It has some hidden features like in the phone page you can tap on menu then on Business, turn the phone sideways and it will focus on a business card, snap a picture and create a new contact with whatever was on the business card is now spelled out in contacts with a picture sharing that page on the phone. This is so great that it is worth a 2 hour review. I do love this phone and show it to everyone. Great Job Samsung, this is a keeper!!
Samsung should have make it water proof, or resistant. Good multytasking features. Battery life can be significantly improved up to 60 % if you change the settings( S pen sttings). I'm a phone technician. I would take it many times over the iPhone 6 or 6+.
