Good sound, great reception, rugged. Bit strong on bass, but even with talk radio, good quailty. Wish it had a few more FM presets, ( has 5 ) and a clock.
Just received this unit yesterday and am I ever surprised. The packaging alone impressed me. After opening and plugging in the unit I was going to read the instructions but had it figured out before I got to that point. Very easy operation including switching AM to FM, turning on/off, selecting stations/volume and doing pre-sets. Live in a very rural, wooded area and have some trouble with reception. Not with this rig. Didn't know we had this many stations available. Plus, this unit is rugged. Think I could drag it behind my truck (not that I would) and it would keep on playing. Not for music affectionados who demand pure sound but for if you're not to picky this unit is awesome.
This radio was perfect for my grandmother who is always outside her house gardening. Her other radio had bad AM reception and was not that loud. She absolutely loves the lunchbox radio!! The AM stations come in really good and are set for her. Now she doesn't have to mess with tuning the dial to get it just right. The speaker is loud enough for her to hear no matter where she sets it down and goes off gardening. I am really happy I chose this for her. It's also really durable.
I love this radio. It was just what I was looking for. Compact and rugged. Radio recetion was great and easy to set stations. I didnt want a "boom box" type or radio ant this filled the bill. It will be handy in the event of a power failure and will keep batteries handy. I highly recomend it to anyone wanting a radio for emergency backup or for a workshop etc.
What a cute radio! Sturdy, handy and portable, with stylish good looks. Easy to read station display. Lots of volume! Perfect for teens, adults, and seniors. Whether given as a gift or bought for your own personal use, this radio is a winner. Haven't used battery power yet, so can't rate that.
Good construction, easy to operate, large digital...easy to read, fantastic reception, great sound. I wanted a new radio because my old "boom box" just didn't have the reception. I friend had another radio from this company and had great results. After some research, this model matched what I was looking for. It was worth every dollar.
The quality of this radio far exceeded my expectations! It is well made and has really nice sound .With the bright color and large buttons and screen, it has made a great gift for my visually impaired mother.
Great radio for the worksite. Easy to preset favorite radio stations on both AM/FM bands. Sound quality is excellent; great bass response. I like that this is a basic radio; no CD/Cassette players to worry about getting dust/dirt in the mechanisms. I would recommend this to friends/colleagues as an inexpensive, durable portable radio.
my second one of these, if there's a sturdier, clearly audio output, for yardwork or casual listening around the home, it's not on the internet!😉 such a fantastic product!👍
I bought this radio to listen to ball games and soft music while I sit on my deck and relax. It has met my expectations. It is very easy to operate, easy to read digitals, and plenty of sound on both AC & DC. The only down side is that interference is picked up by just a person standing next to it. But tell them to move away and all is well. I am happy with my purchase and the quality for the price.
