These are SO cute and very nice quality. If you like bright colors, like hot pink, you will love these! Plus, they're Velcro!
We had 2 pairs of those in different sizes. My son always chooses them against other options. They are light, comfortable and quite sturdy for an active boy. I also have washed each pair at least 5 times and they've been fine. I found saucony to run at least half size smaller than stride rite and 1 size smaller than merrell kids shoes. Separate thanks for the Wide sides.
I order these liteform sneaker for our 15 month old grand daughter. It arrived yesterday. I put the new sneakers on her and they fit just perfect. She has a wide foot, so I was so pleased I could get these in a wide width. She has alittle room to grow. They are well padded inside for comfort on her little feet. I am so pleased with Striderite, I have ordered 3 more pairs of sneakers and one pair of casual shoes. I went up a size in a couple of them, so she can grown into them. For the $5.00 off the sale price, it was well worth it.
We got these shoes today for my daughter after going to get her foot measured in person at our local stride rite. Once we had her correct shoe size (depends on the shoe AND your child’s foot), we tried them on and they were a perfect fit!! They are adorable as well as designed to help her walk safely and carefully. If the Velcro does not fit across your child’s foot- you either need the wide width (which we discovered!) or you need to go up a size. You can really only learn this by going to the store in person and having a professional help you. This shoe is fantastic!! Highly recommend!
I got this pair to match my son with my husband's shoes. And because we are shuffling one pair of shoes between my house and my parents hosue where he stays for daycare. My son regularly wears size 9 wide stride rite shoes, but this size 9 was more like a 9.5 or more. We'll have to wait one more season to see if this will fit.
Love the sneaker look, style and the fact there is velcro. However, my daughter doesn't measure having wide feet and upon receipt of this shoe i found the velcro didn't cover as far as i would have anticipated. I'm a bit disappointed in this as the shoe wont last as long as i had hoped.
My son loves them. They seem to be very comfortable and lightweight as he only chooses them to wear. It's a second pair we have and like first one they tear pretty fast. I also noticed that the sizing is on the smaller side in comparison with the stride rite and merrell.
Ok so I love how light these shoes are! Even after returning and getting the 'wide' fit, the base of the tongue was so tight on my son's foot. I ended up putting something in it to stretch it out for a week to see if it would help and I figured that as he wears them they will break in. I was just really disappointed that the 'wide' seemed to be no different than the regular and it clearly hurt my son's foot to try to get them on at first.
This shoe is mostly great. The down fall is there is velcro on the tongue of the shoe, so often when my toddler is trying to put his shoes on himself, he doesn't get it pulled all the way across the top of his foot to fasten it because it gets hung up on the tongue, so he runs around with his shoes only partially fastened. Other than that this is a nice solid shoe.
Bought this shoe for my 2 year old grandson. We've bought several of the baby ride style and love them. The baby ride fits great and the grandsons never complain about comfort. He didn't like this shoe unfortunately. He complained about the comfort and the shoe kept slipping off. It only got about 2 days wear before we gave up. We have the baby ride in the same size and have had no problems.
