I bought these shoes in September 2021. I wanted a more serious running shoe as I was preparing for a IronMan 70.3 the following fall. When I bought them I had a little knee discomfort when running so I bought a shoe with a little more cushion. These shoes were amazing from day one! I have run over 400 miles on them in that time and walked a few dozen more. The shoes are still holding up well and will become my daily walkers now. Through those 400+ miles of use, it is still comfortable, offers some spring (albeit less than the first day), I have had 0 knee pain while running, and the shoes are in no way falling apart. 10/10 would recommend these shoes to any who need good running shoes and would like a little added cushion.
I purchased these to replace my Saucony Triump 17 shoes for a daily training shoe. It is not as cushiony as the Triumph, but does have a better heel to toe roll and also is not as heavy. I use it for easy days and long runs and it works well for those runs. There is a bit more toe room than the Triumph which I appreciate. Overall, a pretty solid every day trainer.
Smooth and cushioned ride. Automatically felt an increase in pace on my 6 mile plus runs. Shoes want to go fast and they do.
I've been running in Saucony's for over 30 years, and this is their best shoe yet! Love it!
Bought these shoes for my son, a cross country runner, for off-season training. So far, he loves them and said "they feel like they should be illegal"! Very fast, light, and provide lots of spring.
I run pretty flat footed and I found that there wasn't enough support at the heel to keep from slipping. I decided to revert to a different knot that I used in high school xc that pulls a little more tension across the tongue for a snug but not too tight fit. Love the shoes though. V comfy, stellar style, 4 starz
This is a more difficult review to write, because I had terrific luck with the first pair (White / Mutant) which for a Neutral shoe, actually had great stability and stayed solid for over 450 miles. I would give the (White / Mutant - 5 stars). The shoe was excellent and versatile enough for a daily trainer, tempo days and workouts. I praised the shoe and suggested the brand and model to everyone I ran with this year. However, I bought a second pair (Black / White) which appears to be a second generation style and quite possibly could be the root cause for the issues Ive had with this second rendition. Unfortunately, my impression is that this model is not consistent with the first set of color ways / models. On overall appearance the shoe seems very similar, with the exception of a more knit/ mesh upper with additional design. The mid sole seems much softer than the original model, which has led to warping of the shoe after only 50-60 miles - which seems to be shaping in the direction of over-pronation. I understand that this is a neutral shoe, however the original models held up like a stability shoe and was really an awesome experience. Im in a difficult position now, in deciding whether to buy another pair from the original model options or retire my love for the Endorphin shift all together.
I was fairly happy with these shoes while wearing them this summer. They are a little heavy, but the cushion helps for long runs. Unfortunately the side busted out of them today. I would say I've averaged 20-30 miles a week with them, but still, I feel like they should last longer at this price point.
For me, this is the worst shoe I've ever bought. A month of running and they still hurt.
Bought these over a month ago, although very comfortable to walk in, not to comfortable to run in. My heals hurts when I run in these, even after changing the insoles. I would not buy them again and would return them or exchange them for a different style if I could.
