I did what aomeone else suggested in the comments and attached the top first, then on from there. Lots of screws, but well explained. Took about half an hour to assemble, and I was very pleased with the outcome. I also read that it marks up easily, so am considering covering the top with vinyl. In all, nice little table that matches my sofa perfectly.
This product is super simple to put together. For the price, the tables are great. I am not saying that the tables are high end, but they do the job and don't look cheap. I can name countless namebrand stores that offer products of the same quality for triple the costs. In addition when the package arrived to my house it was packaged very well, and there was no damage to the product due to this. Overall I am Very pleased with my purchase.
I paid $12 in the store. I bought this to use as a night stand for my sons room and it works great. It's actually very attractive and you can't beat the price. Was easy to put together.
I love it. I got the two side tables and coffee table. Perfect for the size of my apartment. They are very sturdy. I'm very pleased.
I needed a small table to hold my "altar" supplies-candles, angel figures and incense holder, etc. This fits the bill perfectly! It took a little figuring to put together but it was not bad. Very sturdy for my purpose. Small footprint. BTW, my best friend needed a small table to put a small lamp on. She couldn't find what she needed so I suggested this table to her. She liked it and I put it together for her. What she ended up doing was "extending" her bedside table by putting this next to it and covering both with a with a cloth to make it look like one long table. Looks and works great for her. She uses it for a similar purpose as mine.
I got this to put an ipad and nook on to read in the morning whilst in the "library". Works fine for what I use it for.
These side tables are a great touch to a small room, especially with the matching coffee table. They were super easy to put together, and I had enough space on top to add a lamp and a coaster, but could probably fit more. Loved the price, and it doesn't even look cheap once it's together. Would definitely recommend this product!
You get what you pay for. I am happy with the purchase and knew what I was getting. The pieces look good in my den and do just what i wanted them to do. Word of caution... read the instructions and do not make a mistake. If you have to unscrew after a mistake the fiber board breaks apart.
Looks very nice beside my couch. Took about 30 minutes to assemble. Do not leave cups or glasses on it.
I purchased a Sauder Beginnings Collection coffee table and it was very nice, so I decided to order the side table also. The finish on the side table is very poor quality. It looks dull and used. Couldnt return it because I had already destroyed and disposed of the box. Won't purchase anymore of their products.
