I was very impressed with the delivery time and the packaging of the product. It was delivered much quicker than I thought it would be. The parts were packaged in a way that none of the pieces would be damaged by shipping. That was very important to me since I had just ordered a very expensive desk and computer cabinet from Office Depot the week before. The wood parts in the packaging were damaged and very poor quality for wood. I returned the $1500.00 products to Office Depot and will never buy furniture from them again. Needless to say... I am thrilled with how much my new office furniture cost me. I saved a lot of money and am very happy with the quality. The assembly of the desk was very well documented and easy enough for a female to put together. It is great quality and very sturdy. I absolutly love my new desk. I especially like the pull out writing tables!!!
This desk is one of the few that truly does it all. From pull out side tables to space-filled drawers and filing drawers, this desk does the job of 3. It has an extremely generous amount of workspace on the top w/holes for your cords. Great for a laptop! Looks beautiful in any room.
The desk is beautiful--it was fairly easy to assemble (I'm 6 months pregnant and put it together myself with only 30 minutes of help from my husband to get the frame established and the top on) and it looks fabulous. Also, WalMart.com was great to work with--we had an issue with shipping that was not their fault, and they took incredibly good, quick, and considerate care of the situation.
The desk has a great appearance, very solid and a real good value for the money. A note about assembly: 2 people are better than 1 to put this together, due to piece weight and quantity of pieces - there were 311 parts, not including screws! Overall directions were written well, excepting that a) not all the parts were labeled, which they should have been, and b) step 24 Valance assembly - it was a lot more work than 'fastening' the valances, I had to hammer them in due to the tight fit. Overall, I like the desk!
