Sauder - Trestle Collection Rectangular 4-Drawer Table - Chalked Chestnut

Easy to install. Functional. Satisfied with the quality. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a big executive desk (59 inch wide) with drawers as this one has got. Price was pretty decent as well.

What a horrible piece of furniture! I had higher expectations since it was Saunder- even though I knew going in that it was pressed wood. But this desk is a complete hunk of junk. I bought this as a cheap and fast solution for the basement. My woodworking husband said he's never seen such shoddy workmanship. Multiple holes were not drilled properly- some were not drilled to correct depth, and a lot did not line up properly. We were missing several pieces of hardware. 4 pieces had small blemishes. The directions were actually missing pages. Had I tried to put it together there would have been no way. Metal tracks for drawers were warped. Seriously. Please do not waste your time or money on this. It's not remotely worth it. Had we not hauled it downstairs, and started to put it together and lived within an hour of a Walmart, I'd return this complete piece of junk.

I think the Sauder desk the best in this price range. Here is what Sauder needs to improve: the desk tops needs better connection to the legs. We had to buy ""L-shaped"" brackets to make a stable and solid connection. When we went to the hardware store to buy the brackets, the staff employee said he use to put dozens of Sauder desks together for people and the weak connection with the top of the desk was consistently a problem. If Sauder fixes this in the future, they will be the premier choice.

This desk is beautiful! I picked Mystic Oak. I use this for my work from home job. Its perfect. It did take about 5 hours to put it together but instructions were clear.

Have not been able to use the desk yet as we just had our floors refinished and they aren't ready for furniture. Few minor damaged pieces in the box. I requested replacements and they sent them right out. Love the color and the style. This will look great in my home office. Very sturdy the drawers slide in and out fine. Love the styling of this desk, top is big enough for my work and personal laptop. Bought an entertainment center with the same coloring just different collection and they look great together.
