Just as the first two reviews said, once the tab was pulled out the back, the volume on the play phone was noticeably lower than it was in the store. However, my nephew loves it, and I love that it is not annoyingly loud. It'sa win-win for me.
It has its ups and downs. Like previous reviews, the volume does go down when you pull the tab out and you can barely hear it. How is a child supposed to hear that and be able to learn!? Also, my grandpa taped the tab on the back of the toy and cut it short to where only the tab was in the toy, then the volume was fine.
Got this as a stocking stuffer for my granddaughter. It was great until it came out of the packaging. It then no longer made noticeable sound. You had to silence the room and strain to hear it. It is the day after Christmas and it never was used and is trash. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Same as the other ratings. Extremely disappointing. I pulled the tab out and couldn't hear it unless my head was right next to it.
Don't waste your time. While in the store the sounds it was suppose to make were loud, but, as soon as I pulled the tab out of the back, the sounds that it is suppose to make immediately were barely able to hear.
Reviews are true! Volume was much louder in the store. As soon as I took the tabs out of the packaging, you could barely hear it. I'll be returning this item. Too bad because my son liked it when he could hear it.
Just like the review befor me, we bought this for our son. In the store it was as loud as can be but as soon as we pulled the tab out, poof, sound practically gone. Dont waste your money.
