I decided to give this product a try after researching mounts for my iPhone. It's easy to use and works great. The price is perfect. One of the best things about it is that the footprint is small and you hardly notice the mount snag the phone isn't on it. Great buy.
This mount is really nice. Works so well in our car that I got one for my pickup. I like the idea that it is in a easy spot to see and yet doesn't interfere with driving vision. I use it to hold my Garman GPS.
I purchased this mount a year ago after frustration with several other brands. This mount does the job perfectly. No vibrating and no phone failing from the mount. Simply hold the phone up to the mount and the magnet grabs the phone and simply pull the phone away from the mount to release it, all with one hand. It stays in place even with the charger cord attached. I attached the metal plate to the outside of my Otter Box case even though it states you can mount it under the case.
This product is very convenient for my car use. I just popped out the back of the phone and added the one part that goes on the back of the phone. I didn't remove the adhesive part just in case I want to switch phones and then snapped the back cover on and it works perfect. It really works good. I just put my phone on the dash magnetic and it looks in place. My daughter saw this in my car and loved it so I bought her one as well. This is a really good investment to remain hands free and use your GPS while driving and not be worried about your phone slipping off the seat or out of your hand. Thank you.
Product works great! The tape on the base is very strong and the magnet holds your device without a problem. You can hit or tap the phone without worrying about it falling off. I would highly recommend this product. I purchased 2, one for a personal vehicle and the other for my work vehicle.

I've had this item in use for a couple of weeks and I am impressed with the functionality in and of itself. A few things to consider: ~ I've only used it for a couple of weeks ~ I have not used the adhesive that attaches the unit to the dash; instead I used velcro in the event that something changes via my vehicle or phone ~ People have noted that extreme heat/temperatures have caused the unit to fall off. The heat is on its way here in New Orleans so I'm not sure what to expect. Additional or replacement 3M tape may be the order of the day. I'll just have to wait and see. ~ The magnetic mount is phenomenal!! No sliding, etc. The ball mount holds in place (no drifting downward due to weight, bumps, etc.). For the $13 I paid for this, it was a steal!! By far the best mount available for a vehicle.
Overall the product is good, i did have a problem with the double sided tape sticking to the metal plate and the back of my case, fixed with super glue, and yes the magnet isnt strong enough to go through a silicone case if you hit a bump, Maybe some but not mine. Once i glued it to the outside it works pretty good. I probly wouldnt recomend this for 4x4's while off roading but i will be testing that soon.
I really like this mount. I previously used the GripGo but started to get a little annoyed with the sticky stuff. This product is very sturdy, mounts well to flat and curved surfaces and the magnet is super cool. I have a iPhone 5c and the magnet works great through my phone case. Well worth it for the price.
the item works great. the only problem I have with it is, It shows that the base for it can be bent to fit dash. I did that and the tape came off the base. the tape is still stuck to my dash like super glue but came off the base itself. I am looking for some more 3m double side tape to replace the substandard factory tape. Great value if it would stick.
