I got this Scotch Magic Greener Tape dispenser and I wasn't sure how it would look or feel, let alone work. I definitely noticed a difference in the tape as how it feels and looks. It is a matte finish and looked like my other matte tapes. I had no problems tearing pieces off of the dispenser. It worked really well to tape paper and even to take pictures and papers to my wall. It is durable and had great adhesive. I have 3 kids and we do a lot of art projects and taping art on our walls. I also work from home so am finding this tape very useful and better because it is more eco friendly. Definitely recommend. I absolutely love it when a product is green and yet is as effective as a regular product. Scotch® Magic™ Greener Tape is just as effective as Magic tape yet is made from plant based materials. I love that it works just like original Magic™ tape, but with the added bonus of being a better eco-conscious choice thanks to its plant-based material. It's great to see a company that makes environmentally friendly products without sacrificing quality - now that's a win win!
This tape is a good eco-friendly option. The quality and strength appears to be the same as the original Magic tape while also containing recycled materials in a product that doesn't compromise performance. Highly recommended! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've asked myself how Scotch Brand could possibly make their Magic Tape better when it's already top notch and my answer is always the same....it's not possible, in my opinion, unless they were to make it more environmentally friendly. So of course that's exactly what they did! Their new Magic GREENER Tape is most impressive, to say the least. They didn't compromise quality or performance from the original Magic Tape. It's super strong and holds beautifully for repairs as well as other projects. The best part, next to its performance & quality, is that it's made from plant based materials making it much kinder to the planet! In addition, their cartridges are also easily refillable making them even more kinder to our planet! Scotch Brand has done it again and we're glad they did!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company recently sent me a free sample of the 53% plant based Scotch Magic Greener tape. I see that there are 53%, 65% and 75% plant based versions available. This has all the efficiency of the Scotch Magic tape, easy to remove from dispenser, easy to tear, no stretch, easy to apply and write on, then even better, think it is a little more transparent and invisible than some versions and love that it is better for the environment. Think I will shop for the higher count plant based versions when I am in the market for tape again to try those. I think the 53% fine print should be on the front like with the other versions, easy shopping. Love that it is still photo safe even if it is not quite acid free. Photo safe icon should also go on the front label, easy shopping, people choose tape quickly.
I love this tape. Same great hold and strength as the regular Scotch tape but even better because it is a more environmental friendly product which I appreciate and look for in products. It is easy to use. The tape adheres nicely to most materials. It tears off easily. I like that this product is made with natural products making it better for the earth.
