[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Guarantee to stay sealed - Scotch heavy duty package tape. Made with industrial strength adhesive, super long holding power, made in USA, & included refillable dispenser that cuts cleanly with recycled content. I received this product free from 3M and it is now my go to packing tape. It's the strongest I have used thus far and that makes me feel like my package will get to its destination safely.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled to have Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape available to seal my return! I needed to return a box filled with multiple heavy items. This tape was amazing for getting a very neat and tight seal when closing. The dispenser made stretching the tape across the box a breeze. The serrated cutting edge was efficient when I needed to clip the end of the tape. I would highly recommend this when you want a high performance seal with ease of use.
Three ibuprofens and hour later, still struggling to figure out how to release beginning of tape roll so I could start using it. There was no tab to pull on end of tape to get it started. There were no directions on package, either. Finally put roll under bright light and examined. There is an INVISABLE perforation that needs to be broken and tape then released. There was no way to know this on the package.
Purchased last night and when I got it home, discovered there was no metal cutting strip. I needed to ship a package, so I used the tape anyway, cutting it off with scissors.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DECEPTIVE SELLER. I PICKED THE 6 ROLL OPTION SO YOU ASSUME YOU ARE GETTING 1 DISPENSER AND 6 ROLLS. NOPE, THEY SAY IT IS $12.00 FOR ONE DISPENSER AND ONE ROLL IN IT. THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS 6 OPTION ROLLS ON THE LISTING AND THAT IT IS A MISTAKE AND THEY WILL CORRECT IT ON THE LISTING BUT IT HASN'T BEEN CORRECTED. NOW I LOOK BACK ON REVIEWS AND SEE THAT THEY KNEW ABOUT THIS 6 MONTHS AGO WHEN PEOPLE NOTIFIED THEM. I ASSUME THAT THEY JUST REFUND AND GET THE ONE ROLL AND DISPENSER RETURNED TO THEM ONLY WHEN SOMEONE COMPLAINS AND WANTS TO GO TO THE TROUBLE OF CALLING IN, SHIPPING BACK AND GETTING A REFUND. THE REST THEY GET PAID THREE TIMES AS MUCH AS ONE ROLL OF TAPE COSTS AND ACT LIKE THEY DIDN'T KNOW THIS WAS ON THE LISTING. TERRIBLE!!
Has to be the worst seller I've ever dealt with.
On the website, I purchased the count 6 option. but jusst received a single tape. thsi is too expensive for a single tape. Returning.
The listing and my invoice both say 6 pack. The packing slip says 1, and 1 was shipped. The only reason I ordered this was because it said it was a 6 pack. Count Per Pack: 6 I will contact seller and see what they are going to do.
I dislike this because when I chose to purchase the item it was listed for approximately $4.00 more or less. I. The notification I received it says I was charged over $12.00 for it. I would not have purchased it for that much money. It was a single roll and could have been purchased somewhere else for a lot less.
According to the main add it says Count 6 rolls. After you order you only receive 1. I ordered 2 and was expecting 12 rolls! This is deceptive and so wrong on so many levels. BTW, the order came from Home Depot not from the seller!
