[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes I do not want to cover up what I am taping with tape. Scotch Double-Sided Tape makes that easier and more effective than my previous method, which was making tape loops from single-sided tape. Examples of uses for it are: - Attaching labels to things - Leaving the upper surface of taped-down notes free of tape, so that they may still be written on in the future - Attaching bows and decorations to gifts. Something I do to maximize the tape's coverage area is that I trim the label, etc. after I apply the tape, so that the entire surface is covered in tape without going over the edges.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Double Sided tape from 3m to try, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I have tried doubled sided tape on past projects, and it didn't hold well. I was expecting to be disappointed again but this tape was stickier than the tapes I had tried before. I tested this out on a scrapbooking project, and it worked like a charm! Even after I misaligned a photo and had to peel it off and restick it, the tape still adhered well the second time. This tape has great hold on both sides!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape is really great and saves me from having to take out my tape gun that can get a little wonky sometimes for small projects. I like to hand make cards which are in the photos so just being able to use this small dispenser is perfect!! I must admit that I was a bit confused on the first strips of tape with the writing on it. It wasn't really clear to me that this had to come off first. I mistakenly thought I had to peel off the top layer, but once I really paid attention I realized what I had to do. The stickiness is just right with this tape dispenser and I had fun finding stuff to tape. I would definitely buy this tape and keep it handy in my crafting supplies.
Hold secuely but easily removable. Will not marked up your item or leave a residue. We use it all the time to secure tags on furniture and other items. Highly recommended.

I wanted to participate in my jobs ugly sweater contest. I pulled out a needle and thread but after two loops, I knew it would take too long and didn't have the patience for it. Thinking of the quickest way to decorate my ugly project, I remembered there was two-sided Scotch tape in the drawer. Well, I arranged and taped everything together and was afraid to try it on: I had doubts everything would stay put on the cloth. To my surprise, this tape is strong because even as I pulled and pushed to pull it over my head and arms, nothing, not one tinsel fell off. Awesome! Wish me luck that I have the ugliest sweater!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most double sided tapes are flimsy and difficult to handle after pulling it from the roll. This one has a stiffer plastic which makes it easier to dispense and not want to stick to itself as soon as you do get it off the roll. The stickiness is also a plus compared to other brands. I do recommend you have washed your hands with soap to remove any oils from your fingers though for this to be maximum effective. I used this for my crafting journals and am pleased with the results. I also used this to stick a paper schedule to my pantry door. This product sticks easily to most surfaces just wipe down first to remove dust or oils.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sticks well on both sides and thin enough to not notice that there is even tape in between! Would buy again. Also I was pleasantly surprised that you don't have to peel off a backing like you would with most other double sided tapes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once I figured out that you had to pull the tape quite a bit before I found the double-sided tape it worked well to hang a card near my desk. Much easier than making a loop with regular scotch tape. It would have been helpful to have instructions on the package. 3M provided the product for my review.
I buy in bulk and on every dispenser the tape has split, very difficult to find the end. Frustrating. I never had a problem with it in the past. Something must have changed.
