We love this mattress!! We purchased this for our two autistic sons who have sensory issues as well as issues getting to sleep. It fits thier toddler frames perfectly , is really thick and firm, and offers excellent vibration that slowly phases out as they sleep! I would recomend this for any kiddo with sleep issues, autism or sensory issues :-)
the mattress is of high quality and the vibrator is so quiet you can hardly hear it. The vibration goes throughout the mattress and shut off in 7 minutes. it is easy to turn on and off. We are not sure our grandchild to be will like the vibration as we have heard mixed reviews from other parents but it did not cost any more to purchase with the vibration option when buying a good mattress so if not it is not a loss but if he likes it we are good to go. I did price match this with other retailers and at Baby's R Us it was priced at $50 higher for the same exact mattress so Walmart is the way to go.
I LOVE THIS MATTRESS!!!! THIS IS THE GREATEST INVENTION EVER!!! My son loved this and it was really helpful in getting him to self soothe and in getting him to fall asleep on his own. The vibrating turns off on it's own after about 5 mins. It doesn't eat batteries quickly. I used the same batteries for about 12 months. I STRONGLY recommend this to anyone who is buying a mattress. You're going to pay a little more, but I swear it will be your best investment. My son is 15 months old and has been sleeping through the night since he was about 8 weeks old. I'm pregnant with number 2 and I plan to use this mattress with the new baby now that my son doesn't need it anymore.
Altho my granddaughter has yet to arrive to try out this mattress it looks to be made very well and after turning on the vibrator I was very pleased at the performance. I believe this will be very helpful to her and altho I pray she does not have colic, I know it will be very helpful then.
I WASTED SO MUCH MONEY ON VIBRATORS FOR MY INFANT'S CRIB MATTRESS. BUT THIS ONE CAME OUT JUST IN TIME FOR MY 2ND CHILD. THE WHOLE MATTRESS VIBRATES MY DAUGHTER TO SLEEP. ONLY DOWNSIDE, MATTRESS SEEMS TO BE SOFTER THAN OTHERS. NOT AS FIRM. BUT I GUESS FOR THE TIME BEING, IT WILL BE FINE.
I like the mattress, but it doesn't "soothe" my son to sleep like I thought it would. I wish the vibes weren't so gentle. :) If I had to do it all over again I would just go with a regular crib mattress and save the $$$
