This was the best price I could find on this product...no one else came close to this price. I would recommend purchasing from Walmart...Easy pick-up from store and no shipping charges.
Replaced my steering kit with this one. The original was also a similar Teleflex installed in 1992. Still happy with life and performance. Quality parts, good fit and finish. Good instructions. Best price on the internet, with fast free shipping. In-store pickup was easy.
Installed in 22 ft cuddly cabin, so far so good. Only had to drill a couple new holes for the helm, even fit my old steering wheel.
Ordered this kit when cable replacement I previously ordered would not work with my steering head and gear. This kit is the way to go if you are not sure replacement cable will work. Installed with no problem and solved my steering issues. With this kit you can tilt the steering rack up to 20 degrees wich helped reduce the cable bending at console end and made steering very smooth once again. Thanks for a great product and super fast shipping. When ordered shipping was estimated to take 3-4 days but arrived at my house 2 days after order date.
Although changing out steering cables is a lot of work, my fishing boat feels like driving a new boat. I missed the fact that this kit did not contain the tilt steering wheel option. I had to use my old steering column, but it was compatible with the new cable. I'm happy with the results.

Steering Kit works good . My only complaint is that it is a little short. I have a older boat that had a 13 -1/2 cable. The 14 inch was too long and this 13 inch is a little short, although it works.
Box had been opened, parts removed and taped back up. Seller would not respond and Walmart solution was return for refund...even though I really wanted this item.
