Very good appearance and construction. I bought 2 to make an easily transportable mini stack. Highly recommend!
I ordered this cabinet to install a JBL D120f that was given to me. The cabinet was shipped the same day I purchased it, with free shipping, and it was packed securely. The build quality looks very nice. The birch ply inside where it is not covered by Rolex is very nice. No globs of glue anywhere, over all a really nice looking cabinet. I remounted the JBL with the included hardware, plugged in the speaker and had it all together in 20 min with a Phillips head screwdriver. There is now unwanted rattling or vibration and it sounds great. I am very pleased.
Was very easy to install speaker and included all hardware and looks sturdy. What more do you want. It really is a great value.
I put one of Seismic Audio's own 12" speakers in here - the same as comes in the SA-412 (which I also own), the 8 Ohm Quake12 speaker. I run a Joyo Bantamp Meteor II, boosted with a Horizon Devices Precision Drive OD/Distortion/Booster/Noise Gate combo pedal. I went out of my way to install another, metal grille, over the speaker itself, because I have cats, one of which is a jerk, and I plan to be gigging with this little amp cab. Luckily the included baffle/cloth grille fits right over the top. I rear-mounted the speaker. The cab is sturdy, reasonably light, and with the speaker it sounds AMAZING as a little home practice/recording stack. No weird resonances or vibrations. Just awesome chugging and tapping, and the artificial picking hand harmonics jump out, especially tuned low. One of the screw holes didn't line up with the speaker, but I read that in other reviews on a particular Washington based online retailer, so I wasn't surprised. Those same reviews also said that the missing screw does nothing bad to the tone, and wouldn't you know, they were right. I've had a couple months now to really toy with this thing, and I'm pleased with the overall results. I have another 1x12 custom cab and I might just get another one of these and move the Celestion G12H-100 speaker in there over, or just get another Quake12. Love it.
This is one of the best kept hidden gems out there. These are some of the best made cabinets on the market. At a fraction of the price. But if you want to pay for that name, than go ahead. But for everyone else, buy these guitar cabinets. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Marshall wants $1200 for the 1x12 cabinet to match the SV20H Plexi. I bought the celestion V12 stuck it in this bad boy, and my band mates were impressed. If only for a moment. The whole thing was $250 and I even replaced the white piping with marshall gold.
Cab sounds great, and looks even better. Real happy with the purchase. Put in a G12K-100 to record, though will probably replace with another of my speakers and pair with my Synergy setup. Great value, very happy with my purchase.
Excellent cab for the money, feels solidly built and best of all it sounds and looks great. You don't need to spend big bucks to get a good cabinet this Luke 1x12 Vintage cab is perfect for what I needed and very affordable!
Nice cabinet at a great price. Sounds terrific. Construction is too light for a world tour, but for studio and local gigging it's perfect, very happy.
Well made cabinet. Pushing a 100 watt amp through the speaker with no rattling. Only complaint is speaker cutout is cut out of round just enough as to not be able to mount the speaker properly.
