I was pleasantly surprised to see that the cab was well constructed. The Rolex used and corner hardware was bare minimum in quality, but not crappy at all. I.e.: thin tolex (more peach than orange) but I really didn’t care about color I just needed a home for my speaker. I have an avatar cabinet ant it is def more high end in quality. But that comes with a price. I may upgrade later but for now this is perfect. It is well constructed and my ej1240 fit with the alignment for speaker mounting. I will probably upgrade wiring to higher quality later as I am ocd about that, also the screws that come with to mount speakers are too long. I just used my linesman pliers to cut them to proper length, so be prepared for that.
If you like putting your own speakers in a cabinet, this is one of the best. I have both this open-back Luke-1x12V - Vintage Empty 12" Speaker Cab (with a Celestion G12 V-type) and a Luke-1x12C - Contemporary Empty 12" Cab (with an Eminence Patriot Lil' Texas Neo). The cabinets are solid, well-built, void-free plywood (no MDF), with baffles slightly slanted to aim the speaker upwards. The backs are removable to allow mounting from inside the cab, like the original Fender cabs of the 50s and 60s (my preferred mounting direction). Little details like that make these cabs a real standout. I noticed that a lot of these aren't in stock right now - hope they get re-stocked!
nice
amazing
This is the second cab purchased from seismic these are well built. You can’t build these with 3/4 birch plywood this cheap. I dropped a Celestione 12 speaker into these and they rock. I have a classic peavey head and these compliment the rig. They also look very professional on stage with good strong handles and corner protection. If you want a cab you can drop a speaker in less than ten minutes and is well made amd affordable this is it. Seismic nailed it wth these !

The Vintage is about the same size as a Deluxe Reverb, and the Contemporary is about the same size as a Princeton The cabinets are solid, well-built, void-free plywood (no MDF), with baffles slightly slanted to aim the speaker upwards. The backs are removable to allow mounting from inside the cab, like the original Leo F. cabs and combos of the 50s and 60s, and Leo pretty much defined the art. Little details like that make these cabs a real standout. I noticed that a lot of these aren't in stock right now - hope they get re-stocked!
Built rock solid and has a dual jack on the back with all the wiring already installed. Just screw in your speaker, slide the connectors on and then plug in your amplifier. The only thing I wish was that it was a little smaller. It's big enough to fit two 12" but is built for just one 12" speaker. Would have liked a few inches off each edge to make for easier hauling.
Was using a 4-12 cab for gigs, which was loud and back breaking, this cab solved both issues Would prefer the Seismic logo was removable, I ripped the tolex getting it off, it was glued on for life.
This is a good cab, mostly well built, great fit and finish. The down check is for the speaker mounting holes out of alignment.
