The HeatMate really warms the area up within seconds of turning it on with the handy remote control. Temps are adjustable to 50 or 100% of heat. The item is sleek and slim at Dimensions (L x W x H): 46 x 5.3 x 5.3 inches which allowed me to affix it in the corner without it being intrusive. This is the perfect addition to the patio of chilly nights where you want to still enjoy a meal outside with friends and family.

Patio heaters are tall and bulky for small patios. This was the perfect fix, you can hand it above the sliding glass door and have the ability to control the heater with a remote control, which makes it really easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heater heats very well. There is a high and a low setting. Since the heater is very wide it covers a large area. The supplied remote is very straight forward. On and off and high and low, but the main switch on the heater itself must be on to use the remote. Mounting is very simple with the supplied mounting brackets. You just need to make sure that you mount it with sufficient clearance all around. I definitely recommend this heater.

We installed this heater on our back patio, and now we can enjoy the cooler nights and still feel warm and toasty. We have used it almost every night when we sit on our outdoor patio with family and friends and it never fails to keep us all warm and comfortable. This thing puts out an impressive amount of heat.The profile is sleek and looks very high-end. It has a built-in thermostat which displays the current temperature, so you can adjust the heat as needed. The remote makes adjusting the temperature and turning it on and off very easy and convenient. The heat it puts out is wide spread and not localized to one spot. So wonderful for cold winter days and evenings. We entertain frequently and this was the perfect addition to our home!

We mounted it on the wall above our outdoor seating group, but there's also a tripod option (needs to be purchased separately though) that allows moving the heater around. Since it's a long shape it does cover up more space . It came with few brackets so you can easily hang it on the wall. Highly recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this patio heater in hopes to install this in our metal gazebo on our patio. I was hoping for an easy install however after seeing the brackets and how large the heater was, it wasn't going to work out. Next I looked into finding a heater tripod so that we could have it standing near our gazebo when we were out there on cold nights. After inquiring it seems like you only get the stand with certain models and this one did not come with it. Finally we decided to just install it on our front porch. We were able to install it near one of our outlets so it actually worked out well. The heater gives off great heat and keeps my wife and I warm on cold days/nights while we sit on the porch. I love the remote control and it allows us to change up the heat and turn it off and on without getting up. Even though our original plan didn't work out, we found a great spot for it and we love it. I do wish we had the option to purchase a free standing tripod for it. It would have allowed us to use in various spaces. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an outdoor heater. Please check the specs and make sure it will mount in the space you want.
