All A's or 5's for Walmart, they had the best price for this particular product, delivery was uneventful and on time as promised so bravo Walmart. The safe itself is pretty rinky dink, the spec's say it weighs 159lb... don't think so. I think I could break it open with a crowbar in an hour or so it's pretty cheesy not impressed at all, but I really needed to get something cheap to secure my guns from the grand kids, and with the alarm system in the house I don't think a thief would bother with taking time to pry it open... hopefully. I checked I would "recommend it", with one caveat if you are looking for a locking closet then okay it will do that but don't expect much more.
I was concerned when I saw the driver taking my safe off the truck because the box and crate were a little beat up. after unpackaging it there was no damage. The quality was even better than I thought, Im very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to a friend.
The safe is a great deal, but like the other reviewer, my safe arrived badly dented. Since I needed to have a safe that weekend, I couldn't return it. The dent didn't affect the function, just looked not so nice so I kept it. Overall it still is a good value. My advice is to order it and examine the safe before you let the delivery guy leave, and refuse the shipment if it doesn't look OK.
The safe came very quickly in the mail, despite the size and weight. The only problem is that it also came with dents, one dent was in the upper right hand corner of the door safe. When I closed the safe door, the door rattled in the frame because all four corners where not pressed firmly against the casing. I took I rubber mallet and pounded it till it fit right and pounded a few other cosmetic dents out, everything works and looks fine now. Over all a good deal because it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than anywhere else
I have perused the posted reviews prior to my purchase of this safe and felt it would meet my requirements. There were 2 minor problems with it after I had it uncrated: one of the shelf holding pins was not spot welded firmly and had broken off and the door panel had one of the holding screws pulled thru the panel. These were minor problems and I fixed both, just irritant on a new product.
