There are nicer safes out there BUT this one is the best value, period. If you read forums then buy what everyone recommends you will pay $3000-4000. My first priority was safety for me small children then theft. Mission accomplished on both AND for hundreds less than if I went online somewhere. This does the trick. Period.
This product was well worth the price. It was a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it! I was very pleased with this gun safe and recommend it for anyone with a lot of guns or special things you want to take care of!
This product is great, the price is great. Shipping was a little slow but it is a big item. Shipping took about 3 weeks. The Packing was great. The only problem I had Was the instructions for setting up the inside, they were kind of hard to understand. But Overall I am happy with this product, and would recommend it to anyone

VERY EASY TO OPERATE COMBINATION LOCK SETTING UP INSIDE EASY GOOD QUALITY AND PRICE
We purchased this safe about 5 years ago. The electronic lock failed to work. The locksmith we hired to open it, tried for three days to contact Sentry. He never got anyone to answer the phone. We finally had to cut the door off, thereby ruining the safe. The locksmith says he does not recommend Sentry. I do not recommend them either. The stuff was safe in there though. Even from us.!! I gave it one star because it was good until it failed to work.
The combination on this safe did not work so I had to return it to the nearest Wal-Mart in town. It cost me $260 to move it into and out of my house. I would not recommend this safe.
Do not buy this safe unless you want nothing but problems. This safe has a combonation lock, which doesn't work properly. Cheaply made. The handle, to open the safe broke off last night. Now all my guns are locked inside with no way to get them out. The handle is bolted to the safe with only a 1/4 inch bolt that snapped like a walnut from just turning it. I've had it only 120 days and it's extremly difficult to open using the dial. Next time, I'll only buy a safe with a digital push button lock. I'll let you know how Walmart handles my situation. I'm going to have to hire a lock Smith just to get my guns out. Signed, Not to happy Josh
