The WalMart store in Crescent City is very small and after looking at every new and used store in the entire county I was very grateful to find a very cute toodler bed on line for a grandson who thinks he is too big for a baby bed. It was easy to assemble and looked just like the picture when done. Now his biggest challenge is to figure out how to jump on it without getting in trouble with his momma.
My 2-yr old was so excited as I put together his Elmo bed, it was so cute. I set up the bed myself easily & in a decent amount of time. My son loves his bed & actually sleeps in it. He is to the point where he will walk into the room & lay down when he is tired or just wants to see Elmo, lol :D I would definitely recommend this bed to others. Very durable & sturdy.
I tried to buy some bed for my son amost 3 years old, he didn't like like them. But, when I saw this product just on WalMart online have it. My Son say "Yeahhhhhhhhhhh I love it my ELMO bed THANK and LOVE to Mommy and Daddy" Made us really HAPPY with him. We didn't mint how much to spend, just want my SON like and love ! I bought two of these beds for my 2 1/2 yr old twin boys. They love them. Easy to put together (my daughter and I did it by ourselves), great value for the price, and perfect for my little ones!
This is a wonderful bed for the price! I got this bed for my 27 month old son who loves Elmo. It is very sturdy and perfect size for him for the next couple of years. I am currently 8 months pregnant and had no problem putting this bed together myself. There are a couple issues with the holes lining up but it does not effect the end result in any way. I also had no issues with the stickers not fitting correctly or peeling. My son and his 24 month old cousin were just jumping on it this past weekend together. I would triple reccommend this bed to anyone. Not really sure what other people expect when they get a bed that cost $50, but it exceded my expectations.
Relatively easy to assemble - stickers were annoying, but not as difficult as some of the other reviewers made it seem. The bed is small, but my son is already 3' tall, and he just turned 2... I imagine he will get a good year of use out of it, which isn't bad for the money. Some of the tubes for the mattress support seemed warped, and it took a little finnagling, but it's not undoable. If you plan on buying matching bedding coordinates, beware - Sesame Street bedding seems to cost more than the bed!
Took my husband a little over an hour to put this together (a chunk of that was trying to get the sticker head and footboard images on straight). I had my doubts because it is plastic, but it has metal in all the right places to make sturdy. Daughter slept in this bed on the first night and hasn't given the crib a second thought. For that alone this was worth it!
We got this bed for our 2 year old. He loves the bed - he's a huge Elmo fan. The bed is ok. Not great, but it serves it's purpose. Assembly was a royal pain. Not all of the holes lined up correctly, and this made it difficult to get the bed together, but in the end, it worked. The decorations on the headboard and footboard are stickers, which I did not realize when I purchased the product. The stickers and the spaces they go into are not exactly the same size, and this made the assembly more difficult as well. And, a few days after the bed was assembled, the sticker started coming off the footboard. (The headboard is fine, and I don't understand why one would come off and not the other.) Still, overall, the bed is serving the purpose that it needs to. We don't need to get years and years of use out of the bed, and I imagine it will last as long as we need it too. I do wish the quality and assembly were easier.
We just put this bed together today, and I am sorry to say it was not worth the price I paid for it (though I see it has since gone down). I had to pop the plastic end caps on at least half of the side bars for the frame because they were put on incorrectly and covered up the screw holes. Make sure you check those before assembling!! Many of the holes on every part of the bed would not line up, which made assembly take probably twice as long as it should have. The stickers on the headboard and footboard are already not sticking well. On the upside, it does seem pretty sturdy, it's cute, and my son loves Elmo so much that it should be fairly easy to get him to warm up to to the bed.
Cute but junk is the best way to describe this bed.It was a pain to put together,the pieces werent made right.Too much of it broke way to easy and the bars wont stay in under the bed.Thought it mightve been worth the $ but not so sure now.Already having to upgrade to a new bed.Would NOT reccommend purchasing this product.
