I received a Seventh Generation Body Wash with Purifying Charcoal and Shea Butter in exchange for a review. The views are mine. I'll start by pointing out the positives and negatives with the product POSITIVES include: - Mostly natural product (no known carcinogens) -100% biodegradable -They donate .25 cents per product to Clean Water Action - Has shea butter to make your skin silky soft and smooth - Dermatologist tested - Creates a strong lather NEGATIVES: - includes essential oils which some people have sensitivities to - Price point is slightly higher than other body washes - Scent is strong (natural but strong—although it is a clean and refreshing scent in my opinion) Seventh Generation has been a constant leader at the forefront at producing clean products that don't hurt our environment or our bodies. This is a body wash I feel comfortable not only using myself but giving to my young daughter. It lathers and cleans well and leaves you feeling refreshed for a long time. It lathers so well that I used less of this product than I would have with other brands with helps negate any increase in price. Seventh Generation has become my go-to for laundry detergent, deodorant and now—body wash. It's a good product that I feel positive about using.
Now I am so Happy with this Seventh Generation Body Wash Purifying Charcoal and Shea Butter 23.5 OZ...Omg It is a beautiful bottle,and Its a Good size! The smell is clean,it is so soft and creamy! I am loving it so much,i am Buying 4 bottles! I have to say how fresh and clean and safe this is! Love!
I really enjoy this body wash! It has a soft scent and it leaves my skin very smooth! I would definitely get it again, but in another scent just to try out the others. Itâs really cool the fact that Seventh Generation is eco friendly and wants to help the planet and their consumers by creating amazing products! Â
I've been a fan of Seventh Generation products for awhile now. Very happy to see that they are expanding into more health/beauty categories. So the low down. The scent is different. Its not perfumery , floral or fruity but that's what I like about it. The color, not so appealing, however its charcoal in all fairness.... make sure you wipe or rinse any that lands on your shower. This wash does auds up nicely and rinses clean. No dry, sticky or allergic issues. I'm allergic to alot of products and this gave me no issues. Overall I'm very pleased with this body wash and will definitely purchase it again, either the same scent or try a new one. My only issue, as an more natural product, is the ingredient list is still too long. However Seventh Generation is an innovative company and I look forward to their progress.
I usually use fruity scented body washes but I was intrigued by the charcoal in this so I decided to give it a try. I actually grew to like the scent. It's a creamy wash that left my skin soft and clean. I love that this product is made with safe biodegradable ingredients and that the packaging is mostly recycled ocean plastics. Such a great value for the size of this product as well.
The only downside to Seventh Generation Body Wash Charcoal and Shea Butter is that it doesn't lather much. Other than that, it's perfect! It left my skin feeling soft and clean, and the scent is not feminine nor masculine so the whole family was able to use it. I appreciate that it's eco-friendly and doesn't contain harsh chemicals. And the size of the bottle is a huge plus!
The truth is that I have great things to say about this product, first of all I confess that I had not tried this brand and one of the reasons is the cost that is higher than other well-known brands, but its size compensates it so that it is a positive thing, I was really surprised by the effect that I leave on my skin after using it even from day one, I have been using it for a few days and I see the softness and hydration of my skin, for that part it is something positive and more when it is a product that seeks to contribute to the conservation of the resources of the planet and perhaps one of the most important such as water, here may come something that for me is negative and is that it does not foam and in my experience it is not pleasant since I feel that I need more products and use more than necessary hoping to see foam on my sponge, but I guess that is part of the mission of this product, another negative aspect is the fragrance I do not like at all, charcoal
I was able try Seventh Generation charcoal and shea butter purifying body wash. The scent is wonderful. The color is a medium gray color and a bit off putting at first. I like the texture and really enjoy the light scent. I was very happy that it is Sulfates, Parabens, Dyes, or Formaldehyde free. It is 100% biodegradable, which you don't think is a problem for a body wash. I am happy with the product. it us easy to wash off, the shea helps keep my skin better and moister than with other body washes I have used. The body wash is very easy to use, decent scent, and I enjoy using it.
I was excited to try the Purifying Charcoal and Shea Butter scent. It smelled great. Not too over powering but left a nice fragrance behind. It made my skin feel soft and clean and I love that the ingredients are natural. The thing I didn't like was how much I had to use to get a good lather.
I really enjoyed the smell of the Seventh Generation Body Wash Purifying Charcoal and Shea Butter. Makes your skin feel so clean and soft plus it leaves behind such a nice scent. Doesn't exactly lather up like normal body wash but other than that I really liked this body wash. Highly recommend trying this.
