I love anything that is natural cleaning products. I've been using this brand for awhile now and their dish soap and I got to say the fragrance is not over powering which I really like. So, I started to try the toliet bowl cleaner and it didn't disappoint. I do have to pushes some areas to remove residues a bit more pressure than usual but nothing that the solution can't get rid of. I would say the design could be improved to be able to pour out easier though.
One of the best toilet bowl cleaners out here. We try to buy products that are less harmful to us as product. We love seventh generation and use their products quite often. This toilet bowl cleaner works just as any other but is a handful better and safer then others. Would recommend!
I am happy with the performance aspect but this morning when I tried to use the cleaner the bottle split open and all over my hands. I wasn't squeezing hard luckily or it would have went everywhere! I was all ready for work and had to quickly set it in the bathtub. It is practically a full bottle going to waste. Will not buy this again.
Cleans and smells great. However, the container is difficult to hold on to due to the slick finish and no ridges to prevent slipping from your hand. Also, the top is very small and hard to pull open and close. Hopefully the container can be redesigned to improve using this product.
Love the low odor and natural ingredients, but it seemed that I had to clean my toilet twice as often with this stuff than with more chemical based products. I was fine with that until the bottle split on me and spilled half of the bottle all over my toilet and bathroom floor. Will not purchase again. It also really bothers me that you have to pull the nozzle up to use it. It's the part that touches the rim of the toilet, I'd rather not touch it.
Sorry, I'm sure it works great for some people but the whole point of me buying from Seventh Generation is the fragrance free, citrus free, lavender free, oat free options - that existed prior to now. This absolutely stinks. It's nauseating. Please bring back the good stuff. As it stands, I'm going to have to find another brand because I just cannot handle this.
Packaging (with pull-up, snap-down cap) is AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. Add to that, it is almost impossible to hold onto the bottle (slippy) particularly while trying to pull the cap up, which, BTW, requires a ridiculous amount of effort. Can't tell you how many times I dropped the bottle. And, when closing the cap, it always squirts cleaner out, either on your hand or it rockets across the bathroom. Dispensing cleaner into the bowl should not be the most difficult - and most aggravating - task in cleaning a toilet bowl. The cleaner is actually pretty decent but the bottle is just too hard to use. Won't buy again.
I was contemplating returning this product to the store as I could NOT with ALL my muscle, get this product open. As other toilet cleaners do, I though you open it by turning the cap. Well that was a mistake. I asked my husband to try pulling the top part which he finally got. I even had a hard time pushing it shut. I probably won't use this product again. Mainly due to the problems getting it open. Sorry.
We purchased two bottles that have both cracked at mid height at a rounded edge - just where we press to expel cleaner. I thought the first was a result of a stocker having accidentally cut the bottle. With the second bottle doing this it is clear that the bottle is defective. This results in spilled and wasted product.
Unsafe slippery exterior of this bottle! The full bottle slipped out of my hand twice, falling onto my toes. I couldn't lift it from the cabinet and safely hold onto it. I will not purchase it again. I'm committed to purchase environmentally conscious products, however I won't buy this one again. I'm shocked that such smart marketing professionals of Seventh Generation, inc. would accept such a precariously slippery container.
