I love these easy dose detergents from seventh generation! So easy to give one squeeze and you're ready to go. They're easy to pick up and use. This one has a very light scent. They're all pretty minimally scented. My husband gets reactions to a lot of detergents but this brand always works for him.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for my honest opinion. Seventh Generation easy dose rose scented laundry detergent it's perfect for lingerie very gentle on it. This product needs no improvement it's affordable. that thing is a light Rose scent it's not overpowering matter of fact it takes me back to Childhood Days growing up on the farm smell8ng the fragrance of the Wild Roses that grew there. This laundry detergent is economical friendly. All you need is 1 squirt to do 1 load! did not make the colors in my lingerie bleed and they look even brighter and softer then before. I absolutely recommend this laundry detergent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This detergent has the slightest hint of rose and it left my clothes with the faintest scent. Probably not noticeable to anyone else but me, and I really like it. I was hesitant that the liquid would dispense, but with one firm squeeze it did dispense a small amount. I added 2 pumps because it was a large load. The lid leaked each time aim squeezed it, so it was a bit messy. Hopefully this will be changed in the future as it is convenient to not use a separate cup.
Have purchased this product for years - the detergent is great but the new cap design is a complete mess. It's as though no one tested pouring it in real world situations. The detergent flows over the sides of the spout when you pour and detergent gets caught in the cap threads and seeps down the outside. Please don't direct me to follow up with your quality team - there are enough reviews here stating the exact same problem. Go back to the old cap immediately.
A firm squeeze held exactly upside down yields approximately 20 ml, not 10ml as stated on the label. This means, it's dispensing a “heavy load” each time. The bottle only lasts about 34 squeezes and not 66. When a second squeeze is given without flipping the bottle back right side up, it dispenses about 15ml. Still not the 10ml. We tested this with multiple bottles and multiple squeezers. It's hard to judge performance since we have been washing all our clothes with a “heavy load” dose. All we can do is trust that the company actually did concentrate it correctly. We really liked the version in the paper carton but had to switch to this when our store did. We are all for shipping less water and using less plastic. It is Not mess free. It drips and creates a ring on the counter. My hands are sticky after. We had no mess with the paper carton version. We appreciate the companies efforts to sustainability, but we feel they have miss lead the public on this product.
Love the product and have been using it for years. But - the new design for the cap is a disaster! I actually just purchased a different brand, so I can empty that container and use the bottle. The new 7th generation cap design is a mess, with soap running down the side of the container and onto the base of the cabinet where I store laundry products. Please, please change back to the old cap!
Bring back the "old" design! As mentioned in many reviews, this new cap is terrible! It is incredibly messy, and a waste of more plastic - it's now two pieces versus the old which was one piece and the detergent didn't run over onto bottle. I've used 7G laundry detergent for many years, but this will be the last bottle I buy until you bring back the old design. Seriously disappointed 7G so I'm giving 1* due to bottle design.
The new cap is tremendously hard to get off the first time - My arthritic hands won't do the job, and I had to take a wrench to it, and then it took a good 15 minutes to make it budge. And the nozzle came off, too. This is the second time it happened, so I'm going to get the little detergent packs from now on.
The detergent would garner 5 stars for cleaning but I'm giving it 5 stars due to the cap. The cap is not clearly marked az to how much to use. The directiins say line 3 and line 5 but no where does it tell you what line 3 and 5 are. After using, the leftover detergent runs down the side of the bottle. The directions say wash and dry the cap after every use. That is a ridiculous waste of time and water.
Product is very misleading. “Easy dose” is an overdose - one “squeeze” and it just kept pouring into my washer. Wasting product AND water since I had to run extra rinse cycles. Tried it again into a container and the same thing happened. No way will the bottle wash 66 loads and who knows what it's done to my sheets at that concentration. Label should at least say how much to use so you can measure on your own. Super disappointing and misleading product fail.
