The box is VERY easy to open, no directions needed. Visually you can see it's a pull tab around the top. I have twin daughters who enjoy getting their clothes dirty and I have been very satisfied with how well this products cleans all of our clothes. Also, my one daughter has eczema and it's comforting to know this is a safe and gentle detergent that does not irritate her skin. Definitely give this product a try!
I love this stuff. Very effective on stains and keeps the clothes with a pleasent fresh scent. I have sensitive skin to where even dreft breaks me out. This stuff has been amazing. I also love that the box is recyclable! I hate empty plastic bottles.
I have only used this soap with our cloth diapers. I started with a different powder detergent and it left them feeling sticky and I felt like I had to use a lot. After I found this one I will never go back. I am expecting baby #2 and will be washing all her clothes and diapers with this. I also found this made our washer smell amazing and now more stale water smell anymore :)
I just have to say that I can see in the photo how to open it. I don't think I even looked for directions. It has a pull strip. Please do not let the previous review stop you from buying this product.
This detergent is amazing at knocking out my husband's VERY stinky sweat. When I ran out of this detergent, I tried a competitor detergent and had to rewash the entire load because the smells were still so strong. I love that it gets rid of stains/smells, without leaving an unappealing detergent fragrance behind. Love love love!
It's free and clear. No phosphates, no scents. It even scored an A on EWG which is a requirement for cleaners in our household.
This is one of the few detergents that does not contain Methylisothiazoline and Methylchloroisothiazolinone, which are in most other cleaning products (including seventh generation), and many people are allergic to (myself included). It also cleans well. Please please please don't ever change your formulation!
I'm so glad I decided to try out the laundry detergent! It worked wonders for my little man, who always seems to break out! He hasn't had a rash since we started using the powdered detergent! I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own.
Outstanding detergent. Clothes are just really CLEAN. No lingering scents, no residue. Works great in cold water.
I have been purchasing Seventh Generation products including the Powdered Laundry Detergent for over 25 years. The product has changed over this time but remains an excellent, reliable, non toxic product that still cleans well. I also use it for general household cleaning. I realize a lot of people "prefer" the liquid products nowadays, but I do not purchase products in plastic if I can avoid it.
