Love it

Have only had this iron for 3 days but love it. Only draw back so far is that when you fill it with water it has to be sole plate down. Most irons you can fill standing upright. The steam setting has a generous poof of steam. It's a keeper. Hopefully it will last.

My wife highly recommends this iron.

Our iron broke. I bought one of these pretty green Shark irons at Walmart. My wife then used it and promptly sent me back to the store for two more of them. She says this is the best iron she has ever used and she doesn't want to ever be without one.

So far so good

I have owned many brands of irons from inexpensive to top of the line. Most just don't steam enough for me. The non-stick plates just don't cut it either - so I'm trying this in hopes it fits the bill. So far it has. Reviews are mixed so only time will tell but for under $25.00 if it lasts a year I'll be happy. It is easy to use, heats up quickly and is lighter weight.

It's just OK!

This iron is just OK! Not as nice as my previous Black & Decker light-weight iron which I LOVED. It's larger & not as light-weight as I expected. Also, don't like the fact that the light goes out when it reaches the right temperature instead of staying on when reaching the correct temperature. All-in-all, it's an OK iron for the price paid.

I bought this iron about 9 months ago, it is very confusing to turn on. My husband just leaves it on and unplugs it. The problem with this iron is you add water to it for the steam and the water just runs out of the bottom and goes everywhere. Would not advise anyone to buy. I am going to throw it away and get a different brand.

I was happy to get my Shark iron. I had wanted one for over a year. The first time I used it I was ecstatic over its performance. I emptied the waster out after the use and even steamed it to make sure it was empty. Today I filled it with water and my first swipe over the shirt left a trail of rust all over the front of the shirt.

Shark Iron Green

Bought this iron about 6 months ago. I decided to spend more than I normally would for an iron in hopes of avoiding hassles. Worked great for a couple of weeks. I thought I had found the answer to my iron prayers, then it just started leaking water on everything. No matter what setting it's on, if it had water in it, it leaked all over. I am tired of inferior products so I returned it to walmart (no receipt / no packaging) and got store credit. Let's see how the sunbeam iron works out.

Very Disappointed

Bought this iron 7 months ago and loved it at first even recommended it to my mom. But today the steam button stuck permantly (I've been having problems with it sticking) and now it's leaking bad. Called the company and they said it needed repaired and would cost me more than the iron for labor and shipping to fix it. I do not recommend this if you are looking for one...out tomorrow to buy a new iron that hopefully lasts me a long time!

Like a Christmas tree

I was looking to replace my old Rowenta which finally bit the dust, (12 years). After my first use, I thought that this was the one. However, It would not heat up the second time I plugged it in. The lights just kept on flashing like a Christmas tree. As a matter of fact, I could have used the tree just as well. It's going back tomorrow. This Shark doesn't swim.

HORRIBLE!

Should have known better when every store I went to only had Shark irons remaining on the shelves. This iron has been terrible from day one and I can't believe I didn't return it immediately. It doesn't seem to get hot enough. Filling with water is a pain. We've had it only a few months and the buttons have gotten completely stuck twice. I've managed to pop them off and pull out the button with pliers. I'm just using it long enough to find another one and then it's going in the trash. It's a piece of junk!
