It has been many years since I've purchased carpet as I've been "carpet-adverse" seeing what damage 2 active 30 pound dogs can do to it, along with a cat! However, after exploring tile and exotic woods for our stairs going to the 2nd floor, we finally agreed carpet was what we had to do....after another year of waiting, I finally went carpet shopping. Came home with several samples of Stainmaster PetProtect in gray's. Purchased the "Fog" at the Premier level. After one month, am very, very happy with our purchase! It is much more cushiony than our old carpet, additionally, the cat has already puked on it and it cleaned up wonderfully!! We installed the carpet on our stairs, upper landing, and 2 bedrooms. Would love the opportunity to provide another review in a year.
I bought this a year ago and love it. We bought more of the same for other rooms. It is very stain repellent and plush. It pops right back up even after leaving heavy furniture on it for over a year. You could not tell after vacuuming and a few days that furniture ever sat there.
We purchased new carpet for our whole house. The old carpet was still in good shape after 42 years, but the padding was worthless. We order new StainMaster Carpet through Lowe's, the order went flawless, the install went above our expectations, and the Carpet Feels SO GREAT and Fluffy. It's been about six months since the carpet was installed. The feel of the carpet is great. I went with the deepest pile. I see footprints when people walk, which I do not mind at all. I wish it had come in 16 foot lengths rather than 12 foot so that the seem would have been in a better place for my home. The thing I dislike is that almost immediately I noticed dark "traffic" marks near the front door, even though I vacuum twice a week and have two doormats (one outside, one in the screened porch) to use before coming into the house. There is also some matting down in the hallway from the foot traffic. I do not have pets, however I chose this carpets because it had better reviews for not staining and was less likely to retain odors. The carpet was very expensive, and I did not expect the matting and dark traffic marks to happen so soon after installation. That is disappointing.
We had the carpet installed a month ago and real happy with the assistance HOWEVER there is an unpleasant problem that is yet to be resolved. In many spots throughout the home there is a 'crinkle' sound underfoot. The cause? It is either the Stainmaster pad or the adhesive tape selected from installer.
This carpet has been down less than 3 months. I am totally dissatisfied with the carpet. Within A month it was showing traffic stains and we do not wear shoes on the carpet. This carpet is not as advertised. I want something done. Our last carpet was 20 years old same color and did not have stains as bad. We are totally dissatisfied. We want something done.
We purchased the original carpet over one year ago and had to have it replaced a total of three times due to the poor quality of the material constantly pulling. Bought this for the salon of a yacht. (Not a boat). Wine was spilled and the stain could not be removed. The claim was denied because it was a boat. Also you need to use their exact procedure to try to remove the stain or the warranted is void. When you have a spill the first thing that comes to mind is clean it up NOT go online and see what you need to do to make sure you get what you paid for!!! Carpet bought last fall and just installed 2 months ago as there was a delay in shipping. Is not as durable as previously purchased stain master carpet, cheap quality even though expensive. VERY disappointing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Does not live up to the sales pitch. We have 5 animals and therefore there are going to be accidents. Cleaned them exactly how we were instructed to on the website for our carpet and the stain as well as an odor remains. We have even paid for our carpet to be professionally cleaned and still there is a odor of cat. We bought the Pet Pro carpet and pet pro padding only to have wasted our money. Waiting to hear back from the company.
