This brand is the best I totally recommend this product I have used the shampoo & conditioner & the leave in treatment & there really good and other products from this brand . this ultra-healing All-Over Hydration 100% raw Shea butter its really good because it works for so many things and also just a little amount goes along way I love it because I have really dry skin so it helps me with that It also helps with Chapped lips it helps with irritation in skin And protects hair from heat and it softens skin and hair & it also helps with dryness on scalp love it !! This product will leave your hair and skin feeling extremely soft. Does not have a strong fragrant scent nor irritates your skin. Heals extremely dry, cracked skin.
This is a very moisturizing product. I have used it on my lips, hair, feet and skin. When used in my hair (I have fine hair with a dry scalp), I had to double cleanse my hair to get rid of the oil but it made my hair feel nice and my scalp was less dry. I don't like it as a lotion because of the smell. My favorite use for it is on my feet. They feel amazing after I leave this on them overnight. I have been using the Shea Moisture All-Over Hydration 100% Shea Butter, for about two weeks now. It has helped immensely with the dry skin on my legs. No irritating fragrances or alcohols, friendly to my sensitive skin. I also use it on the ends of my hair and for fly always. It takes a bit to warm up, feels thick when you put it on but soon melts in. I would definitely recommend ! I'm so glad I got to try it out, and will be grabbing more as soon as I run out! Love how moisturizing the product is. It is not a product you can use and go quickly. There are small beads of Shea butter that needs to be warmed up before you can work in the skin. It will take some time so I use it at bedtime. It has worked really well on my small patches of eczema. I bought this to moisturize my skin and new tattoo. I was not aware it would be granulated and difficult to melt or dissolve to make it more manageable and work into my skin. Little bits are left but the parts that do melt across my skin is ok. I was going for more smooth application.
This organic Shea Butter from Shea Moisture is a good buy for the cost. I like that it is organic, ethically sourced, and uses recycled packaging. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the safety seal was very loosely attached. The shea butter inside the packaging is solid, very firm, and has a grainy-like texture to it. It's almost too firm to be able to get the product out easily. Upon using some of the product on my skin, I noticed that it was difficult to melt even after excessive rubbing. There were chunks of the shea butter that just did not want to melt and fell onto my floor. Now I'm used to this with coconut oil but the coconut oil is much easier to liquefy than the shea butter. Though, my skin did feel very nourished and moisturized afterward. If you use too much; however, you're susceptible to leaving oily fingerprints everywhere you touch. I tried some of it in my hair but I felt that it was too much for my fine hair texture so I'll stick to using it on my skin. I did not care for this product. You have to warm it between your hands to be able to apply it and it takes awhile to warm it up. I did not care for the texture. It felt super oily on my hands. When I washed my hands after applying it, they were smooth and felt really hydrated so that was nice, but not my favorite while it was actually on. You also do not need very much; a little goes a long ways which is always nice for products. I will probably use it on my feet while I sleep because then the oily feel won't bother me, but they will feel great in the morning. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Shea butter container top was cracked and there was no cover over actual shea butter other than cracked lid to peel back for use.
This shea butter is not creamy but very grainy. It fell off my skin like dust, it left a trail of shea butter crumbs in the carpet which is very hard to pick up. I do not recommend this product
