It was difficult to put it together. The furthest drawer is smaller then the others, so some of the shoes do not even fit unless it is kids. But overall I really like it. Makes my foyer look so much more orgonized. Wallmart offers the best price on this product! I checked other sites.
Easy to assemble, looks nice, holds alot of shoes, we like how the drop down doors click shut so they stay closed, also like the removeable slats to accomodate the thicker shoes and boots.
Took forever to put this cabinet together but I'm really happy with it. It tips forward if you get more than one door open at once and seems to lack a counterbalance but as long as you are aware of that you shouldn't have any problems. I love not having shoes everywhere, this cabinet really cuts the clutter!
We stuck this in our closet, perfect for what we needed. It got all my wife's shoes up out of the floor and was very stable, very plain straight forward appearance. I wouldn't want it out for everyone to see, but for our walk in closet it is perfect. It wouldn't look bad if you had to have it out for the world to see either, just not my preference.
Some boards were slightly warped. The backing only covered 3/4 and not the full back as you would think. It will serve its purpose, but not worth the money.
This is a great space saving cabinet. HOWEVER, my cabinet arrived missing the back pieces. I didn't notice until after I put it together (I should have checked). At this point, I'd rather by plywood and make my own rather than deal with taking it apart and shipping it back just to get the flimsy back pieces from Walmart, etc. I would have rated this much higher had it come with all the necessary parts.
If your shoe size is larger than 10, then don't even think about buying this product. I have to struggle every time I put a pair of shoes in or take a pair out. My shoes do not fit easily in these drawers, so I have to maneuver them every time. My wife's shoes .... no problem. This product is perfect for women shoes and men shoes size 10 and smaller. Also, they didn't provide a cover for all of the back side .... cheap!! Overall, is not worth the money. Big disappointment.
I was disappointed after putting shoes in it. The case rocks back and forth like paper in the wind. The case itself is beautiful. If you want beauty, but don't want sturdiness, this is the product.
I recently bought this triple shoe chest but repenting coz it's very difficult to assemble. I am still stuck in step #9 of the steps to assemble. The wood is cheap and chips off when long screw is screwed. Thinking to return but the pack is so heavy :-(
This shoe cabinet is very poor quality and the three shoe drawers were almost impossible to get in the shelving unit. After the main unit is put together and the individual drawers are put together, I placed the unit flat on the floor (back side on the floor) before attempting to put the drawers in. I needed a second person to help hold each drawer to align it with the plastic tracks, then press the base/bottom of the the drawer into the curved track, then when it was almost the the end we had to hit the bottom of the drawer carefully but forcefully to get it into the proper position. After many unsuccessful attempts, one drawer was put in correctly. While putting the second drawer in, one of the plastic pieces attached to the drawer cracked. When putting in the third drawer, the little plastic piece that is screwed into the shelving unit that slides into the drawer track broke off taking with it a good portion of the particle board from the side of the unit. After much time and frustration, the unit is broken and is not usable. It also does not come with pieces that attach to the wall which makes it a tip-over hazard. Save yourself time and money and DON'T buy this shoe rack!!!!
