Not what I expected. Bought to give as part of a birthday gift. Bought a bigger specimen a few months ago and it was great. Will just keep this one. Of course not all will be alike.
The color was good, but it was much smaller than I expected. I wanted to put it on display in my curio cabinet, but it’s so small it’s not even noticed.
I did not like the back coating on the amethyst… I don’t know what they normally use, but I would’ve preferred the non-polished stone that God made.<br /><br />This was my first purchase… Not quite what I expected, but gave me a good idea of what I can expect in the future.
