Very easy assembly - even I could do it! The base has a nice / realistic look. Favorite part of this fire pit is the table top around the fire pit: form and function!
Brought the fire pit home and noticed first thing that the top had several deep scratches in it. Since it is not real wood it is not fixable. Or at least not fixable enough to keep a $329 item. So we have returned it and ordered a new one. Hopefully the next one is in better condition. Not sure how it got scratched. The box was in good shape when it was delivered. Other than that, the overall look of the faux wood and stone is really nice. And it is the perfect size for our deck.
Made of fiber glass faux stone so doesn't weather well. Takes small propane tanks 1lb last a couple hours and only 15k btu's which doesn't heat at all. Nicea as a table and for ambiuamce but for another 100.00 I bought a real fire pit with fire glass and 70,000 from hbfirepits.com Mr. Hart
Received product damaged from fork lift tines poking into the box, chipped and cracked the fake wooden top and the fake stone work. Decided to keep and patch vice dealing with return hassle and they are sold out on line now. Does not come with a 1 lb propane bottle so connected my 15 lb propane tank with an adapter hose that is used on a 1 lb propane camping stove. This resulted in the regulator freezing up after five minutes and the valve becoming inoperative and the flames to dwindle down to nothing. Have since connected a 1 lb propane bottle and it works but propane doesn't last long. Recommend getting an adapter to refill the 1 lb bottles from a 15 or 20 lb propane tank. Wish I would have shopped around more before paying the price for this fake fiberglass money(fire) pit. Not recommended.
I was disappointed in the fire pit. For the price I thought the top would have been better quality, it was chipped and the finish was bubbly and not done very well.
