Tastes fine. I make a pesto pizza - very good on it.
amaze your guests with this flavorful spice packet that tastes 'fresh' and not like a packet. I used egg-noodles, a chicken breast, some fresh yellow peppers and my husband kept saying "wow, this is good"
I use this on whole wheat pasta and just add chicken and sun-dried tomatoes. Use two packages if you like a stronger flavor.

The description of the product on the Walmart website is in error. The description states, "Simply Organic Sweet Basil Pesto Sauce Mix, 12 Packets, 0.53 oz (15 g) Each." However, the company only sent one packet, rather than 12. Walmart's Help Center was helpful, in that they called and emailed the company providing the product, Swanson Health Products. The company emailed back quickly explaining they do not sell packets of 12.
It states that it's 12 packets, but they only ship one.
Was going to order 0.53 oz Sweet Basil sauce 12 packets. Changed my mind! Previous reviews show "only received (1) packet?! Will not risk!

I did not like that they only sent me 1 packet of the basil pesto sauce and not 12 like their item says. This needs to be fixed QUICKLY !! I know Swanson is a good company but 4.32 for one packet is outrageous!
