I am so impressed with my Singer classic Finish Steam Iron. It really works as well as is advertised in online videos and by the Singer Company itself. This iron heats up almost instantly as soon as you turn it on and choose your setting. Gives a really nice crisp crease to slacks and jeans alike and you really can press through both legs at once to achieve that nice smooth crisp crease. Burst of Steam...WOW! It really does shoot 4 feet across a room when held vertically upright and does blast out the wrinkles on clothes that are on a hanger. I am very impressed with the performance of this iron and would highly recommend it as an excellent overall iron to buy. The automatic shut offs work perfectly and you can use ordinary tap water for the steam. However, as the irons pamphlet suggests, if you have hard water or lots of minerals in yor water, you can use half distilled and half tap or half bottled spring water. With 1700 watts of power, this iron will handle all your pressing needs. K. Jones, NB, Canada

had a Shark iron which tortures by periodic leaking and finally resort to dry ironing which triples the time involved. This Singer compared to it is heaven. Lots of steam and does not leak and shorten time spent and effort by more than half.
I chose this iron based on the reviews & it really is a quality iron. It has a good water reservoir that's so easy to fill by just pulling down a tab to open, & pushing it up to close. It even comes with it's own cute plastic water filling cup. The steam feature is a great useful addition, & the vertical burst of steam is good for direct penetration of the garment. I like the 3-way smart auto-off feature as its immediately activated on its own after 30 secs when on its sole plate. Overall, I love the trusted brand name, the sleek look of this iron, steam feature & the can't go wrong price!
I am satisfied with the iron which is from the Brand Name of Singer they are well known for their sewing Machines Bar None I recommend any one looking for a an Iron Without having to pay top dollars still this is worth more than 39.00 it's worth the price along with your 2 year warranty
I love this iron, it heats up fast and is a nice weight. The classic finish glides over your fabric. It holds a large amount of water for steam and the little jug that comes with it for filling is much better than my old iron.
I decided to purchase this Singer iron because I have owned a Singer sewing machine for 39 years and I believe in the brand name. This iron is lightweight and does a great job at ironing. It was very convenient ordering this on the Walmart.ca website with delivery to my door.
I bought this iron on the strength of the reviews I'd read here. I have owned several irons over the years and have never been totally satisfied with any of them. This one is different and well worth the price. It doesn't spit or drip and glides over the material without any effort at all. I highly recommend this iron and hope it will be the last one I have to purchase.
I bought this iron a few weeks ago to use for sewing. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had all the features I wanted and more. Continuous steam can be used at any setting and it heats up fast. Just love it! Bonus - Walmart's delivery was free and delivery was really fast.
I am very happy with the iron. Glides beautifully over fabric, steam is excellent, and the water does not drip. Since I have a water softener at home, I was happy to learn I could use spring water in the iron.
