I ordered this as a birthday gift for 7 year old grandson. he loves it, it was easy for him to understand, and he aspires to be the next Bon Jovi. It is impossible to find these items out there in the market, and why should I spend an entire day going from store to store and wasting gas. I found item on your website, shipped directly to his home, hes happy and I saved time and money without leaving my home. Walmart is my way to shop
This was a great christmas gift for my daughter. I did a lot of research on different karaoke machines before I decided on this one. I feel that I made the right choice. My daughter loves it. we spent the first night singin Michael Jackson songs. The disco lights were a big hit. I 've been hearing her every night so far. I just know this would be used for a lot of gatherings. Only negative I may have is the microphone. I wish that it was louder, but it serves it purpose and my daughter isn't complaining. I would definitely recommend this product.
Absolutely love love love it! The lyrics from my cd+g CDs come up on the screen here and if you prefer a bigger screen just plug it on your TV! The disco balls move and light up which is a bonus! Plus i got my order after only 2 days of ordering it! This is the machine to get at the right price to have a good time at those karaoke party one throws at their homes!
Bought this for my 10 year old grandson's birthday party, about a week ago. The kids had a blast with it. It was definatley one of the party's highlights. I'm not musically inclined, so not sure if it's good enough for proffesionals, but it sure is a lot of fun for beginners, young and old!
I purchased this for my girls for Christmas since they love to sing and dance. They love this karaoke machine, especially the diso lights and mirror ball! I purchased an extra microphone like other reviewers suggested and it definitely works better than the one that came with it. I didn't realize that it isn't compatible with Party Tyme or the Billboard karaoke music discs though. The music from those plays, but the words are jumbled. It works great with songs downloaded from singingmachine.com though. I guess that's where they get you--you have to buy music from them if you want the words to work. (That's why I gave it 4 stars overall). Other than that, we love it! It's been used every day since Christmas by 3 young girls and its's still working great.
I spent a lot of time researching a Karaoke machine for my 5yr daughter who loves to sing. She is a big fan of HSM & Carrie Underwood. I got the package and actually set it up and tried it out before it got wrapped for x-mas. I am impressed with the quality of the product. From other reviews on other sites I ordered 2 add's microphones of "heavier" quality-1 to use as the 2nd mic & the other to replace the one that came with the machine since other complained about the quality. The mic that came with the machine was of great quality and sounded great-now we have 3 mic's! You can hear yourself sing without putting your mouth on the mic. This will be a great hit with the kids and adults.
We've had this product a couple of weeks now and so far, so good. The only issue I have with the unit is the master volume. This machine is nowhere NEAR loud enough, even when it's plugged in to the TV. Still, I'm assuming I can connect the karaoke machine to another speaker that has more "OOMPH" but I haven't tried yet. I also found the motor for the disco balls to be a little loud but you can't really hear it when music is playing.
This was my son's favorite birthday gift. But it's a shame that it does not work with other CDG disks.The words to not appear correctly. The mic does not work well either. You have to put your lips on the mic and turn all the volume knobs to max to get a good sound. My son loves the Echo feature and the disco lights. He is 9. Will have to return. Wish I read the previous reviews.
My husband has been wanting one of these to use at home so I finally bought him one. Did some research and this one looked pretty good. It played the demo cd perfectly but when we went to play some of the other cd+g cd's that I purchased, you couldn't read half the lyrics and when the lyrics were supposed to be highlighted according to the song, it was way off most of the time. This product should be able to play all cd+g's not just the same brand as the machine. Very disappointed.
Ok, not thrilled, my daughters christmas present.. it stopped working on the second day and wouldn't spit out the cd. I took it back and they had to use a screwdriver to get her cd out. It was great while it worked, checked all the trouble shooting tips. Wasn't overheated, was on the desk, just stopped working. We just want something that works.
