GREAT TASTE, PRICE AND LOW IN LACTOSE.
Like drinking a thick, creamy milkshake. Blends smooth, with no lumps in a shaker cup. Too bad it's not sold in your stores. Could be packaged in 5 lb. resealable pouch to lower the cost.
Casein is essential for weightloss and muscle building. You drink this before bed and your body uses this to burn calories while you are sleeping. This is my nightime recipe that I drink before bed. 1 scoop chocolate casein, 8 oz cold water, 1 Tbsp peanut butter and about 4 ice cubes. Blend well in blender and enjoy!!!!
I suggest mixing it in a blender...it is thick just like Casein is suppose to be. I use a full rounded scoop before bed every night. I can tell it is decent quality because I don't wake up starving like I normally do every night. I just wish they sold this in a bundle package or in a larger container like a 5 lb bag or bottle which should help on the price. I know this isn't too bad of a price but selling it in a larger container should help bring it down some. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for added quality protein.
This casein tastes great and Walmart has the best price I have found.
Although I am unable to test the particular product in a lab, the price versus quality is really unbeatable. You can try amazon or where ever else and you are unlikely to beat this price for a decent tasting Casein. It's thick, so i suggest mixing with water or skim milk in a blender or good shaker with blender ball, but it doesn't clump nearly as bad as many other casein products. Alittle about Casein Protein versus Whey protein: Casein is a slow release/digesting protein compared to Whey which is digested quickly. Whey is prefect for in the morning and post workout, when you need aminos/protein fast. Casein is ideal for long periods when you can't eat protein every 2-3 hours (before bed). I personally make a Whey/Casein mix for morning time. (70% Whey and 30% Casein) This ensures quick protein and good levels or aminos until mid-morning snack. If you can't eat protein every 2-3 hours I strongly suggest adding Casein.
So i got this product and it was as advertised. You get what you pay for, however, if you haven't purchased a protein powder before, you should know that the container isn't completely full, it's more like half. It tastes great and much better than the whey protein I buy in mixing.

The price is good but not as large as some others
It wasn't good at all alone but with peanut butter of some fruit it might just be tasty.
