The Album is amazing ! It's so great and interesting to hear how their songs were originally recorded. Love, love love original Skynyrd ! CD arrived fast and was packaged well, arrived perfect.
This is the original Lynyrd Skynyrd...where it all began. The Swampers produced and recorded this album with all the raw purity Skynyrd deserved. This album was remastered once Skynyrd signed with MCA records and the difference is clear. I, personally like the raw sound because it makes me feel as if I am in the studio, at the time of recording. Beautifully done, Lynyrd Skynyrd was a band whose members loved to play, and that comes through clearly in these original tracks, recorded in a small studio by professional session musicians (The Swampers), in rural Alabama.
