I need both hips replaced. between pain and sleep deprivation, my sleep number mattress was not comfortable anymore. Added this pad and I'm finally getting some pain relief and much needed sleep. It does keep the bed at a nice tempature too! I've been using it a few months now and still enjoy how it feels each night.
This is the second time I have purchased this item. I have one in my fulltime home and I came to Fl for the winter and I had trouble sleeping without it so I got one for here too. I just lay down and snuggle up and I'm out like a light. I have a hip replacement and it makes sleeping so much more comfy.
Since using this mattress topper, I have had a harder time getting out of bed in the morning. It is so comfortable and the perfect amount of softness and firmness. I am in heaven and on a bed of clouds when laying on it. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a comfortable, great night sleep! My only negative comment is that it had a funky smell when it first came out of the box, but it quickly went away. Comfy comfy!
Had the same topper on our bed for 8 years. It was a sleep innovation mattress topper. We decided it probably needed to be replaced so started shopping around. Walmart's price was so much lower than anyone else on this item. I bought it online and had it shipped to our home. When we first unpackaged it, it had a slight odor, but it disappeared within 24 hours. We are as happy with the new mattress topper as we were with the old one. Good support and really comfortable.
The mattress topper was a great price at Walmart compared to many other sites I visited. When it arrived it did have a strong smell. I let it air out near an open window for two or three days and it was fine. It is so super comfortable!! I used to wake up with some aches and pains but no longer! I am so glad I bought this product.
I purchased this 2" Memory Foam Topper based on all the positive reviews it received, and now I am one of those that can give a positive review. Our mattress is starting to get up there in years, but we're not quite ready or in the financial position to purchase a new king size mattress. Thought that a topper might "hold us over" for a bit longer. Had been waking up with backaches before, but now that we have the memory foam we're sleeping great and NO backaches!! Compared to other topper prices this one is definitely more affordable and like other reviewers have said the 2" is plenty. Would definitely purchase another.
I've tried a couple mattress toppers and I have to say this is one of the better ones. I think the 2 inch thickness is the "sweet spot" of support and function. The 4 inch one I had tried was just too thick. Even with the extra 2 inches, my deep-fitted sheets still could fit on my bed. I liked the cushioned support when I slept [both side and back, though I sleep more on my side]. Unwrapping this beast [king size] was a little bit of work as it rapidly expanded from a compact wrapped cylinder into a very large pad. When first unpacked, it had a little plastic-like odor, but that quickly faded. I think my favorite pad is still the Sleep Innovations 2 inch gel [see link below], but this is right behind it and is a better price point.
After contemplating if I should buy a new mattress I decided to buy this foam mattress topper. My current mattress is super firm and it was giving me back pain. I don't like soft mattresses either so I decide to buy the 2 inch topper. It provides just enough support and comfort to suit my needs.
Thanks to the positive reviews I found for this product I decided to purchase this mattress topper and I am very happy with the choice. It keeps it's shape and I don't toss and turn to get comfortable which gives me a good night sleep with no aches or stiffness in the morning. I would highly reccomend this product for anyone looking for comfort. This topper does not come with a cover, so that would be an additional purchase if you are looking for that added feature.
This foam mattress pad helped make the mattress more comfortable but unfortunately whatever the material is causes us to sweat.
